Forced out of his research group after conflicts with his colleagues, Ogawa Takanobu takes up an offer to teach at a girls' high school in Nara. When taking roll call on the first day one of his students, Hotta Ito, sneaks into class late, claiming a bogus excuse - that she got a ticket after trying to park her deer in front of the train station. He makes immediate enemies with Hotta when he tells his superiors about her tardiness and attitude. In the following days, he begins to notice something unusual about Hotta, but he can't seem to put his finger on it.

With an odd group of colleagues who live together with him, Ogawa slowly accustoms to life in slow-paced Nara, where there seem to be as many deer as people. Walking through Nara Park one day, he begins to befriend the local deer population, feeding them rice wafers. After being confronted by a talking deer who commandeers him to prevent the destruction of Japan, he fails in his first mission and the talking deer exacts punishment--looking into the mirror the next day, he discovers he has turned into a deer from the shoulders up. Ogawa slowly begins to piece the puzzle together: the talking deer, the mysterious student, and a recent series of earthquakes that could spell doom for Japan...

Hanoi Bride is a very special, two-part K-Drama, filmed to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam war. It tells the story of Eun Woo, a Korean doctor who meets and falls in love with Tib, a Vietnamese woman whilst in Vietnam. However, Tib's sister is opposed to the match, as she was hurt by a Korean man in the past, and so persuades her Tib to break off the relationship. Eun Woo returns to Korea broken hearted, only for his older brother Sok Woo to head off to Vietnam in search of a bride himself. But when he returns with a young woman on his arm, Eun Woo is horrified to discover that it is Tib!

When Kyoichiro comes home, he hears that his 14-year-old son Kyosuke was stabbed to death. The person who killed Kyosuke turns out to be 13-year-old Mitsuru. The two boys were classmates. Due to Japan's juvenile law, Mitsuru will not receive commensurate punishment for his crime. Kyoichiro points his anger at Mitsuru and his mother Hatsumi, but Kyoichiro sees that Hatsumi also suffers from her son's actions.

The story will focus on a love triangle between the three leads. Eikura plays the role of Morimoto Naoko, a girl from the countryside whose first love is her uncle, Ikezawa Masato (ARATA). She follows after him to Tokyo by getting admitted into an elite medical university, but there she runs into Masato's girlfriend and colleague Aya (Kanno), a beautiful and intelligent researcher who is the daughter of the university hospital's director. However, things get complicated after Naoko and Masato meet again.

One day a father with a young daughter is diagnosed as a sufferer of early-onset Alzheimer's disease. The father, Kinoshita Keisuke has been separated from his wife by death and has worked at the factory's dorm with his daughter ever since. A skilled craftsman at the metalworking factory, Keisuke is a man with a sunny disposition who is also the team coach for a boys' baseball team. Surrounded by his friends of the neighborhood, he has lived happily with his daughter up until today. Things take a turn when Keisuke realizes that his forgetfulness has taken its toll. He is diagnosed as having early-onset Alzheimer's disease. His daughter, Kinoshita Miu played by child actor prodigy Ashida Mana, is a strong reliable girl on the outside but still a young and vulnerable girl on the inside.
