Shin Joo Yeon is a 33-year-old fashion marketing director at a home shopping channel company. She's developed a tough prickly outer shell in order to succeed in the workplace, and has almost given up on the idea of true love after countless failures in the relationship department. Joo Wan is a 26-year-old songwriter and carefree spirit who returns to Korea after seventeen years living abroad. Up until the age of 9, he was practically raised by his mom's friend and her daughter, Shin Joo Yeon. She only remembers him as a kid she was forced to play with him when her mom was busy, while all his early memories from bath time, to play time, to learning how to tie his shoe, include her. Upon meeting again, he aims to heal Joo Yeon's jaded sense of romance.

Based on a novel of the same name by writer Qing Shan Luo Tuo (青衫落拓), tell the story of a young couple who finds their love rekindled after being separated for ten years. This drama is about a forensic doctor and prosecutor who work together to catch a serial killer. Baek Bum (Jung Jae Young) is a forensic doctor with 10 years of experience at the National Forensic Service. Although his skills are recognized and he has performed the most autopsies in Korea, he is eccentric and has a picky personality. Meanwhile, Eun Sol (Jung Yoo Mi) is a prosecutor working in the 8th Eastern District. As she was born into a wealthy family and possesses photographic memory, the detective is a warm, sensitive character who aims to connect with people’s hearts and pursue the truth.

Unable to live or die due to certain circumstances, Koda Sumomo visits Auberge Gilda which is a five-minute walk from Cape Shide, a famous suicide spot. She listens to its owner Shiraishi Yuko and ends up working with the employee Koreeda Ibuki and chef Omori Zen for three months. Guests with all sorts of circumstances come to this auberge at the farthest reaches, including an actress being criticized for reports of an affair, and a man faced with divorce on the day he reached the mandatory retirement age. Through their stay at Auberge Gilda, they become aware of life and are revitalized. Seeing this with her own eyes, Sumomo also has a change of heart. However, she learns about Yuko’s secret.

Five youngsters enter the same university and become very good friends. As they're very close, they're afraid of 'hurting' one another, and this results in even more tragedies. Both Tamotsu and Osamu, who fall for Narumi, keep holding back their feelings and giving way to each other. This complex love affair unintentionally causes Junichiro's death. In the end, all left school due to one reason or another, leaving Narumi alone to complete the course.
