Chiaki Shinichi wins he prestigious Platini International Music Competition and becomes the new orchestra conductor for the Le Marlet Orchestra. Chiaki then goes with Frank to observe the orchestra and is astonished by their poor performance. It seems due to lack of funding the orchestra lost many of its members & the interest of its audience. Meanwhile, Nodame prepares for a graduation exam at her music school. She is happy that Chiaki has finally become a conductor and becomes even more enthusiastic when Chiaki asks her to play Ravel's "Bolero" with the orchestra. But, her excitement soon turns to disappointment when Son Rui takes her part in the "Bolero" performance. Nodame tries to hide her disappointment from Chiaki. The performance itself turns out to be a bomb. The audience laughs while Chiaki tries to do his best. Chiaki thinks back to his first practice with the S Orchestra and his teacher Franz Strezemann. Nodame attempts to comfort Chiaki after the performance, with Nodame and Chiaki eventually deciding that they will make the next one a success. Chiaki holds an audition for new members in his orchestra, while Nodame takes care of the promotional activities. Finally, the performance is set to begin. In the mid-1990s, university art majors Xu Lai (Xu Zheng) and Yang Yi (Du Juan) fell in love, but then Yang was transferred to the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Xu has never seen her since. Almost twenty years later, the already bald Xu has long forgotten his dreams of becoming an artist, but he can never forget Yang even though he enjoys a comfortable life with his loving wife Cai Bo (Zhao Wei), the only major problem between them being the repeated failure conceiving a child. During a vacation in Hong Kong with Cai's overbearing family, Xu plans to secretly visit Yang, but Cai Bo's goofy young brother Cai Lala (Bao Bei'er) — always carrying a video camera in hand for his documentary project — tags along like his unwelcome shadow to spoil the rendezvous. Do-hyung Choi (Song Kang-Ho) is the captain leading the Korean expedition as they challenge crossing the Antarctic for the first time in the world without supply. The goal is the unreachable point of Antarctic continent. The crew are Jae-kyung Seo (Choi Deok-Mun), Young-min Lee (Park Hie-Sun), Sung-hoon Kim (Yun Je-Mun, Geun-chan Yang (Kim Kyeong-Ik), Min-jae Kim (Yoo Ji-Tae). The members of the expedition are carrying a 100kg sleigh and they are still moving ahead in perfect shape.21st day of the expedition.Marching through the snow the expedition finds a journal of a British expedition written 80 years ago. Min-jae, the youngest of the expedition, who finds the ‘Antarctic Journal’ feels strange because the drawings in the journal are similar to himself and the Korean expedition. From the moment this Antarctic Journal comes into the hands of the expedition, strange things start to happen to them. Jae-kyung suffers a serious cold when in Antarctica virus cannot exist, a mummy of a British expeditionist wearing winter clothes is found, and as these strange phenomena happens, captain Choi shows greater tenacity for reaching the unreachable point. All this is as strange as the unknown lands of Antarctica.Soon enough, the sun will go down and Antarctica will be filled with pitch darkness. The expedition have lost two men and the equipments are not working. Only the strangest eyes are looking upon them. Does this unreachable point truly exist?

As a child Takuma is diagnosed with a heart condition that requires care from a cardiologist. He soon becomes friends with his doctors young daughter Mayu while being treated at the hospital. One day Mayu overhears her father saying that Takumas condition is serious enough that he most likely wont live beyond the age of 20. Takuma isn't aware of this himself, however, so at 8-years-old he makes a promise to marry Mayu when they turn 20. Later in life, Takuma becomes aware that he wont be able to keep this promise and he begins distancing himself from Mayu in hopes of protecting her.

Hong Seol, an ordinary university student, works part-time jobs to pay for her tuition. Suddenly, Yoo Jung, a wealthy senior student at the same university, comes to ask her out of a date.

Kenmochi works as a novelist. He is able to recognize people who are suicidal. Kenmochi and his friend Urushihara meet these people and let them find hope in their lives.
