It mainly tells the love story between Lu Wan Wan, a student of the Film Academy, and the online game god, Han Jing Mo.

In the game, Han Jing Mo is the No. 1 god in the whole server but in reality, he is the famous senior in the Film Academy. He is the most powerful player under the name 'Mo Bai'. In real life, he has cold personality, he has dreams of becoming an actor and likes to spend his time playing game. Meanwhile, Lu Wan Wan is a student at the film academy who dreams of becoming a successful actress and wants to prove her own strength. In her leisure time, she would play game. In the virtual world, she showed her great skills and has slayed many players. She is one of the greatest players in the game.

To win the 'Champion Cup Challenge', both of them agrees to set an alliance and team up for the competition. Both of them, then established empathy as they go through many adventures together. But what Lu Wan Wan doesn't expect is that Han Jing Mo is actually 'Mo Bai', who has always been by her side since the very beginning. Despite many things that happened after their meeting, they both gradually fall in love with each other and pursuit their dreams of acting.

The Aoshima Company is a precision machine maker, located in the suburbs of Tokyo. The company is a medium sized corporation. The have a conference once every week to report achievements made and the prospects for the company. At the conference, President Takashi Hosokawa (Toshiaki Karasawa) gives a menacing look, while executives shout at each other. After President Takashi took his job, the economy significantly worsened due to a financial sector slump. The Aoshima Company suffered because of this and faces difficulties. President Takashi then tells executives to abolish the baseball team. The executives are shocked. President Takashi informs the executives that he has heard the bank may cancel their loan from the next session. To show the bank that they are trying to improve their situation he has decided to cancel the baseball team. The baseball team needs 300 million yen to exist. Their baseball team was once well regarded, but they re now a burden to the company. President Takashi must persuade the Chairman and Founder of the company Tsuyoshi Aoshima (Tsutomu Yamazaki) before he can abolish the baseball team. He goes to talk with Chairman Tsuyoshi. The Chairman asks President Takashi “do you have  'ism' as a company president? If you want to fire people, you need to have 'ism' as a company president." President Takashi tells him that he doesn't have 'ism' right now, but no matter what he will protect the Aoshima Company. That is his 'ism.' A bigger crisis ensues.

Set in ancient times, the story follows a young emperor who leads a double life as he works in the theater with a group of artists.

In a certain dynasty that is prosperous and peaceful, the people praise the young emperor for being brilliant and wise. In reality, the emperor has not yet taken power because it remains in the hands of the Queen Mother and the emperor's uncle. Uninterested in government affairs, the emperor simply wants to go outside the palace to travel and feed his obsession with the opera. One day, the emperor discovers a secret passage. When he quietly slips out, he is surprised to find that at the end of the passage is a theater house that is about to reopen its doors to the public. As he meets its owner Bai Xiao Qing, he conceals his true identity to associate with a group of wonderful artists. Being one with the people, the emperor goes through several ups and downs in his journey to become an excellent ruler.
