The 64th NHK Asadora Renzoku Drama is Churasan, a story of a young woman, Kohagura Eri, who was born in Kohamajima Island, Okinawa on May 15, 1972, the day when Okinawa was returned to Japan from the U.S. Eleven years later, Kamimura Shizuko and her two sons, Kazuya and Fumiya, come from Tokyo to stay as the guests of a small inn run by Eri’s family. Eri’s fun-loving, yet eccentric family welcomes them warmly.

However, Eri is shocked to hear one of the sons, Kazuya is terminally ill and Shizuko and her sons came to Okinawa to spend his last moment together in beautiful nature. Fumiya, Kazuya’s younger brother, and Eri promise to marry each other someday. However, after Kazuya’s death, Fumiya and his mother leave the island to go back to Tokyo. Years later, they are reunited, Eri as a nurse and Fumiya, a doctor, working at the same hospital in Tokyo.

The story's settings include Okinawa, Naha, and Tokyo.

In 30th Television Academy Awards, the Drama won awards for Best Scriptwriter, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress.

It follows the growing friendship between three girls and their bumpy road through youth. Suspected to be suffering from depression, the rebellious Qiqi (Mi Mi) has a tense relationship with her foster father (Andrew Lin). By chance, she meets Younuo (Li Jiawen) and Bao Bao Lan (Alana Yang) online. Even though they've never met in person, they've learned to trust and appreciate each other. One day, Lin Nanyi (Eric Zhou), the sunny vocalist of a band, barges into their lives.

During his high school days, Kokusho Hiroshi was the rugby club’s ace who attracted national attention. However, he sustained injuries owing to his self-centered and aggressive style of playing. He was criticized by his teammates and remained isolated until he stepped aside. After graduating from high school, he lived a carefree life without a regular job. Then one day, he has a brush with the law because of a fight that gets him sacked from his job at a construction site and evicted from the apartment that he had been living in for falling behind on the payment of his rent. It is to work for the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force which defends the country’s peace and security. “With a name like that, weren’t you born to become a member of the Self-Defense Force?” Hiroshi initially refuses but makes a half-hearted decision to become a trainee. Despite the grueling training, this turns out to be his true calling.

Travelling around to practice medicine, Wu Myo Lie and her mother Wong Gi Gi successively encounter a man with a skin disease and someone from their hometown. Myo Lie falls in love with him at first sight and does everything she can to marry Him. Unfortunately, the boss of the vinegar brewery tries all possible means to prevent the marriage because of a grudge against Gi Gi. Having been cured of his disease, Ron helps Myo Lie achieve her wish. Myo Lie thought everything would settle down after the marriage, but unexpectedly, Him falls in love with his maid Eliza Sam. Main character Koichi Zenigata originates from manga series "Lupin Sansei" ("Lupin the Third") by Monkey Punch (published August 10, 1967 to May 22, 1969 in Japanese seinen manga magazine Weekly Manga Action), while the screenplay is an original story.

When Chu Yi Ping, an emotionless man, dislocates his hand in an accident at school, his uncle gives him Ever 9 as a caretaker, an experimental intelligent robot that his company is secretly testing. Although Yi Ping is reluctant at the beginning, he finds that Ever 9 complements his deficiencies and makes him feel companionship. Yi Ping asks Ever 9 to make a wish and complete the wish list together, but before the list is completed, Ever 9 breaks down. The repair only takes a week, Ever 9 is about to be reset. After the reset, Ever 9 rushes to complete the wish list and posing as if he is bored with Yi Ping and actively asking for a return. Yi Ping doesn’t know what’s wrong with Ever 9 because he has learned from it how to be human and experience love. Can’t he learn how to be together for life?
