Yeo Hee runs a vegetarian cafe at Jeonju Hanok Village. She is a thousands-old nine-tailed fox who still can't move on from Master Jin Woo, her first love a thousand years ago. One day, she finds out that Jin Woo has reincarnated, and now is Yoon Ho, a young and confident CEO. But Yoon Ho already gets engaged to another woman. Yeo Hee decides to seduce him to rekindle their long-lost love, and she asks Seung Hwan, a paramedic, to learn seduction in the modern age. Seung Hwan was devastated after his girlfriend dumped him. Directed by TV writer, director and host Sunny Lau, A Perfect Day for Arsenide adapts ten stories from the same-titled novel by Hong Kong writer Pizza, the author of Lost On A Red Mini Bus To Taipo. Spanning suspense, horror, comedy, fantasy and more, the inventive film rolls out whimsical and bizarre stories about the absurdity of life in the wild city of Hong Kong. The film's large cast includes Wilfred Lau, Terrence Siufay, Eric Kot, Hanna Chan, Chloe So, Kevin Lee, Alden Hung and Sarika Choi.

Cha Kang Jin is the son of barmaid, Cha Chun Hee. His life is difficult as he gets into fights and has to watch other people push his mother around yet he can't do anything to stop it. He meets Han Ji Wan when they were teens but they weren't able to continue their relationship as Ji Wan ran away after her older brother's death. He meets Ji Wan 8 years later when he's attending her engagement ceremony to Park Tae Joon. However, he is heartbroken as Ji Wan pretends to not remember him at all.

Zhi Xin’s son Zhu Yong Jie, a music producer intern, also starts questioning her past.

Twenty-five-year-old Kakushidate Yakusuke suffers from the fate of constantly stumbling into various crime scenes and ending up being the main suspect. His last resort: Okitegami Kyouko the "Quickest Detective." However, Kyouko suffers from a strange case of amnesia; whenever she falls asleep, she forgets everything that happened the previous day, making her solve the mysteries within one day.

Lin Si Jia and He Man Li were girlfriends that are born in the same month and on the same day. He Man Li had a crush on Li Qiu Yang, but he chose Lin Si Jia instead at a graduation. Out of fury, she married someone else and left for New York vowing to never see Li Qiu Yang again. Lin Si Jia was worried sick after hearing about He Man Li's husband's death. Seeing this event, Lin Si Jia decided to take He Man Li in and live in her house. A series of event eventually leads to Lin Si Jia facing the love and betrayal by her "closest friend".
