Five young warriors from an ancient civilization of Dinosaur-evolved Humans are awakened during the present day after 170 million years of suspended animation when their sworn enemy, Bandora the Witch, is inadvertently released from her magical container on Planet Nemesis by two astronauts. The five warriors, the Zyurangers, must summon the power of mechanical-looking deities known as Guardian Beasts, each modeled after a different prehistoric beast, in order to protect mankind from Bandora's evil forces. A sixth warrior, Burai the Dragon Ranger, later becomes involved with the conflict between the Zyurangers and Bandora's forces.

Laila is the daughter of Queen Pinthurot, who rules the Ogre kingdom. She is sent to the human world in order to be saved from Pinthumarn, the rebel who wants to dethrone her mother. Goro Zaizen and Shuji Satomi are assistant professors at Naniwa University Hospital. Goro is a brilliant surgeon who will do anything to make his way up the corporate ladder. On the other hand, Shuji is a physician who earnestly devotes himself to medical research. Though the two doctors have contrasting personalities and are considered to be rivals, they highly recognize each other's skills. The entire medical department is restless while preparing for the election to choose a new Surgical Department Professor. All Goro has on his mind, is how to win the election. Meanwhile, Shuji is looking after a patient who apparently has pancreatic cancer. He carries out tests on the patient cautiously, and is very careful in telling the patient of the cancer. However, Goro barges in on their conversation, and out of the blue, tells the patient he has cancer, and that he needs an operation right away. Shuji is furious at Goro's rude attitude, and yells, "Doctors are not God!" Goro ignores this, and starts laying the groundwork for the operation. But when Goro finds out that the Director of the Medical Department has already given a diagnosis of stomach cancer, he cancels the operation. He feels that pointing out his boss's misdiagnosis will only hurt him in the upcoming election. Shuji however, is determined to save the patient's life and go on with the operation.

Ishibashi Naoto is a successful reporter who has just gotten married to his girlfriend, Saki, whom he met one month earlier. However, as Naoto begins to live a new life as a married man, strange things start to happen. Saki disappears without a trace and as Naoto begins searching for her, he finds out Saki's identity doesn't exist. When Naoto starts to dig deeper into the mystery, he begins to receive anonymous threats. Frustrated, Naoto meets a Yoshino Mariko, detective who thinks she might hold the answers to Naoto's questions.

Inspector SUN CHIU-TUNG (Liza Wang) leaves the police force because of an unsettled case. She then opens a private investigation agency and, due to all sorts of accidental mishaps, employs KUNG CHAK-LAM (Wong Cho Lam), KUNG TUK-LAM (Louis Yuen) and TSUI SHUI (Johnson Lee). The three young men have all been treated badly by life. By taking them in, TUNG is given the ability of clairvoyance, that is, the power to see the future. CHAK-LAM, TUK-LAM and SHUI also have distinct supernatural power of their own. CHAK-LAM can go through a wall; TUK-LAM can turn into a kung fu master for a minute whenever he likes; and SHUI is able to make a person tell the truth. With their supernatural powers and superb impersonating skills, the foursome is gearing up to crack the most difficult cases and make you laugh and fall off your chair!

The dream of rookie lawyer, Ayukawa Wakaba, is to be an international lawyer with a yearly income of 10 billion yen. However, the foreign law firm that had employed her, suddenly announces its withdrawal from Japan. A flustered Wakaba contacts a law firm that she had received an offer from, and ends up being employed by the firm run by Sakuragawa Shoko. When Wakaba comes to work the next day, Shoko says that a client is waiting. Wakaba gets stars in her eyes, but the person she is introduced to is Shoko’s 5-ear-old daughter, Hinata. Shoko would like Wakaba to take care of the girl. Wakaba immediately introduces herself, but Hinata’s attitude is brusque. Because Wakaba is her 26th caregiver, she does not see a need to remember her name because she will be replaced soon. Hearing this, Wakaba decides to deal with Hinata on equal terms. Even though she detests children, she declares that she definitely will follow through with what she has accepted. Hinata is convinced, and promises to do what she is able to. After that, the two of them head to the nursery school that Hinata attends. On the way there, Wakaba’s gaze is rooted to a spot because of Yamada Sota, whom she had mistaken for a molester in the train a few days ago. Sota is with a child called Bitaro, and Bitaro is a friend who also attends the same nursery as Hinata. Hearing from Sota that caregivers have recently been screened when they come to the school, Wakaba declares to Hanamura Hitoshi, the head of the nursery, that if they are doing so, they should cross check with the list of sex offenders. A panicky Sota intervenes. Then Hanamura’s daughter Urara praises Sota as a role model for ‘ikumen’ (men who proactively and voluntarily take care of their children). Wakaba scoffs that Japan’s economy would fail if the country were full of these unproductive men. Sota and the Hanamuras are struck dumb, while Wakaba smiles sweetly and says she is neither interested nor concerned about ‘ikumen’ … …
