The story of a female judge who fights to reveal the truth about her older brother who was framed for murder and was himself killed by powers greater than her.

Judge Lee Jung Joo (Park Eun Bin) presides at the Seoul District Court. She sometimes swears at shameless defendants with unspeakable words. Meanwhile, Judge Sa Ui Hyun (Yun Woo Jin) is assigned to the judgement bench with Judge Lee Jung Joo. He is well known for his excellent use of the law and his conscience to reach verdicts. Now, Lee Jung Joo fights against a huge power who framed her older brother for murder and killed him.

This family-oriented show revolves around three different families clashing through a lot of misunderstandings as they become in-laws with each other: a popular female host on a shopping channel and her three daughters who are a college professor, high-powered consultant, and doctor, a divorced spouse who loves to regale stories about his time in the Marines, he has dried skin from doing the dishes every day; and a daughter from a rich family that that runs a successful fashion designer company. Their problems clear up slowly through love and understanding that result in a healing process.

But for all her quiet sacrifices, she is picked on constantly by her mother-in-law, which eventually leads to her divorce. For her daughter Li Ke’er, Bai He decides to pull herself together and moves to the mountains. Relying on each other and going through hardships, they both grow and mature together.

Three years ago, police officer Liu Yuanwen sends back wrong intelligence, seemingly causing the death of his fiancée and fellow police officer Rong Yu. He also loses a friend in Rong Yao , his brother-in-law-to-be and member of the drug task force. Disheartened by all the events, Liu Yuanwen resigns from his position and cuts off all contact.
