‘Windy City’ AKA Wife & Woman is the story about the people who are struggling between love and separation, and muster up their courage to attain their true love and to perceive the genuineness of life.

In 1986, when Yugoslav nuclear power expert Lehmann came to the East China Sea to inspect nuclear power and question China's ability to build nuclear power plants, fitter Ye Jia Ming and buyer Lin Tian Chen, becomes his first supporters.

But during the building of a plant, Tian Chen was corrupted by Ding Li, and accused by his superior, of variety of crimes. Feeling betrayed, Tian Chen resigns from his post and went to the United States, leaving his son Lin Qi to the Ye's family to raise. But what he didn't except, is that his son, will folllow his footstep, and as an adult become key figure, in developing nuclear weapons.

Du Kai Qi is an independent, single woman who loves comic books and her job as a chef in the fine-dining French restaurant, Figaro Cuisine. When an unassuming man, Fu Zi Jie, moves in next door, they immediately begin to bicker over trivial matters. But when Zi Jie shows up as a new employee at her restaurant, Kai Qi, as well as other staff members, mistake him for a lowly intern, not knowing that Zi Jie is a classically trained chef who just returned from France and that Figaro Cuisine is actually his father’s restaurant.
