In 1980s, an evil alien race known simply as the Invaders are about to take over the Earth, using assorted daikaiju (giant monsters) and other fiendish plots. Assigned to investigate this threat is an organization called the Science Guard Members (SGM). But another hope comes from someone, unbeknownst even to himself, possessing otherworldly power. Professor Mitarai, the leader of SGM, finally shares a secret with his foster son, young photojournalist named Kyôtarô Kagami ("kagami" = Japanese for "mirror"), a secret only he himself knows: Kyôtarô a half-cast of an alien father and a human mother (both of whom are missing — captives of the Invaders). Kyôtarô discovers that he is actually the son of Mirrorman, a superhero from the 2nd Dimension. However, the original Mirrorman was defeated by the Invaders' toughest monster King Zyger (explained in Episode 14), but his son Kyôtarô survived, and shares the same powers as his namesake. Naturally, the young man had difficulty accepting his destiny, but he soon realizes that he is the only one who can save the Earth from the Invaders, when they try to assassinate him. In order to transform into Mirrorman, Kyôtarô must stand in front of any reflective surface (mirrors, water, etc.), and flash his Mirror-Pendant, and utter the words "Mirror Spark".

The story unfolds during early Minguo in a hidden library. Fan Zhen greatly treasures the books passed down from his ancestors and guards them with his life. Fan Shu Han is Fan Zhen's adopted son, a bright young man with an amazing memory. He falls in love with Lin Ruo Yun, the daughter of his father's old friend Lin Zheng Gong. The two of them decide to elope, but their secret is discovered and tragedy ensues. Shu Han's older sister, Fan Yu Lian, is clever and classy. Due to family reasons, she has no choice but to marry Lin Shao Qing, Zheng Gong's oldest son. However, her true love is Fang Zi Wen, a scholar who studies in her family's library.

Miyako participates in a 1 night and 2 days hiking tour of Mount Fuji. Ryoichi Nozawa is the guide for the hiking tour team of Miyako, Shintaro Kondo, Someno Aoyama and Ai Mitsuke. While hiking through Mount Fuji, Someno looks back and sees Miyako is crouced down and has her hands covering her face. Ryoichi tries to talk to Miyako, but she is frozen. Miyako sees the faint shape of person. Miyako realizes that she has a daughter named Natsuki.

Meena is a stubborn girl and a talented auto mechanic. Phuphat is the heir of a company engaged in the production of auto parts. His father arranges a marriage between Phuphat and Meena, in hopes she will be able to heal his heart that was hurt in the past and return his interest in life. Everything seems to be going well, but suddenly his ex returns and Phuphat's younger brother begins to show interest in Meena.

The story revolves around two companions Zamal Areeba. Zamal belongs to a wealthy family whereas Areeba belongs to a white-collar class family. Areeba and Zamal are best friends until an attractive person turns into the explanation of their conflicts. Faaris marries Areeba and Zamal didn't knew about this. Zamal asked Areeba to marry her brother Rohaan. Areeba gets engaged to Rohaan. Later on Rohaan's best friend Rafail gets to know that Areeba and Faaris are married. He invites Rohaan to his house and when they both are in the car, they caught Areeba with Faaris. When Zamal's gets to know that Faaris is married with her best friend Areeba, she gets dishearted. In the last episodes, Areeba leaves Faaris and stays in the house of her cousin. Faaris returns to his parents house while Areeba's cousin leaves Areeba and also leaves Pakistan.

One day, six boys with different personalities and backgrounds are notified they shared the same father. And on top of that they are entitled to a large inheritance. There is only one catch. They must attend the same school and live in the same house for one year to become loving brothers.

The 73rd NHK Asadora Drama is Kaze no Haruka, written by Omori Mika. The story is on Mizuno Haruka from Yufuin, Oita Prefecture, which is known as a hot spring resort. At the age of nine, Haruka moves from Osaka to Yufuin with her father Yosuke and her younger sister Asuka because Yosuke hopes to open a restaurant in the town. Her mother Yuko, however, chooses to stay in Osaka and the parents soon get a divorce. Yosuke starts running a restaurant but ends up closing it down soon after. Ten years later, Haruka supports her family by working part time while going to a junior college. Worrying about Haruka, Yuko invites her to come to Osaka and offers her a job. Although she has not forgiven her mother, Haruka decides to earn money in Osaka to help Yosuke reopen the restaurant. Through various experiences in Osaka, Haruka gradually understands her mother and grows as a tour planner with her talent for pleasing people. The drama depicts Haruka's struggle to regain family ties and to realize her dream
