It is an anthology drama about the lives of eight legendary figures in China: Yu Min: Involvement in national defence and security from his youth until he reached his middle age. Shen Jilan: Advocating "equal pay for men and women" and her election to the first National People's Congress. Sun Jiadong: Countless defeats become the starting point to depict the relentless spirits of the Chinese scientists. Li Yannian: Heroic feats during the Korean War (known in China as the war to resist US aggression and aid Korea.) Zhang Fuqing: A war veteran has gone to live in one of the poorest regions and helped people out of poverty. Yuan Longping: Worked tirelessly to provide food and clothing for his motherland and the people of the world. Huang Xuhua: It recounts the difficult process in China's independent research and development of nuclear submarines. Tu Youyou: Development of the new antimalarial drug artemisinin and answers some doubts people have about the Nobel Prize received in 2015.

Toda and Miura play two teachers, Natsumi Uemura and Shuji Kashiwagi, at the same high school who are set to get married in half a year. However, the night before the school year's opening ceremony, Shuji becomes involved with the young Hikari Saeki (played by Takei), without realizing that she will be a student in his class starting the next day. As Shuji struggles to help Hikari deal with the mental complex she is suffering from, he is also torn inside by his betrayal of Natsumi. Meanwhile, Hikari attempts to get closer to Natsumi, driven by feelings of jealousy and a desire to destroy the couple's relationship.

For example, if a monkey, eagle or snake approaches, they make different sounds to warn other members of the group which type of predator is approaching. Males also use a special sound when courting a female. This episode features Taiwanese squirrels using their diverse range of calls to overcome many challenges of life in the forest."

Wan Shi Cheng's eldest daughter-in-law Zheng Qing Tian has devoted everything to her family and the restaurant, yet her sacrifices are met with her own husband's betrayal. Wan Shi Cheng's own wife walks out on him because of his failure to properly address their family's problems. These trials become stepping stones for the Wan Family as they mature and grow closer in the face of hardships.

The Plan is a business that turns women into perfect ladies for a man, which is managed by Mr. Robert. He calls these women the "Ideal Wife". Chollada is from a middle-class family who became a perfect and educated lady by The Plan. She was considered to be a great product from the company. Mr. Robert thinks she's perfect for Kasidit and tries to invite him for this service many times. Kasidit starts to think of this as a fun game, so he accepts it and meets Chollada. It's no longer a game for him when he falls in love with her, but he doesn't know if she truly likes him or if it's a set up by The Plan.
