Golf's and Bank's homophobic father/step father, sends Golf to the USA to study, while a devastated Bank stays in Bangkok, Thailand, after knowing their relationship. However 8 years later, Bank and Golf returns home from their respective trips (Bank was in Los Angeles working on a project as a researcher), and (Golf returns from a working trip in Pulau Weh, Indonesia as an experienced diver). Besides the return of familiar cast members Michael Miu, Bosco Wong, Ron Ng and Oscar Leung, as well as Joe Ma’s iconic character, Flying Tiger will also welcome a new microbiologist character played by Roger Kwok.

The theme of "season 7" is diversity. The members of the Special Investigation Unit, including the team leader Kunikida Seiji, Asawa Naoki, Komiyama Shiho, Aoyagi Yasushi, Yazawa Hideaki, Shindo Ryo, and Takao Yuma all have strong personalities.
