Set during the Edo period, Killing is about the life of a ronin and those around him.

Synopsis After receiving approval from his superiors, young anti-narcotics policeman Chen Zheng (played by He Shengming) changed his identity and went undercover in a drug manufacturing factory. He cooperated with Jiang Hai (played by Wang Yiquan) outside the factory to plan to uproot the huge drug manufacturing and trafficking gang headed by He Yuanhua (played by Yu Entai). During this period, he was repeatedly tested and threatened by cunning drug lords.

Chu Liu Xiang is a hard-drinking newcomer to a realm dominated by magic-wielding martial artists. He is a supremely talented martial artist, but he is still green, and yearns to become a virtuous thief, robbing the rich to redistribute their wealth to the poor, both on land and at sea.

His swashbuckling adventures lead him to the Divine Water Palace, whose new ruler is Mu Qian Yu. At first, Chu Liu Xiang takes Mu Qian Yu for an equally hard-drinking man, who appears to be a womanizing Alpha Male with outstanding martial arts abilities. But when fate forces him to team up with Mu Qian Yu, he learns that the ruler is actually a woman who has disguised herself as a man in order to gain her position. The duo team up to fight the forces of evil, and eventually fall in love. But fate intervenes again, separating them for many years. When they are finally reunited, Chu Liu Xiang has become a formidable bandit of great repute. But this time, the forces of evil have something much tricker in store – does this lovestruck duo have what it takes to fight back?

In 1991, Busan, Bae Jung Gil, who had been working as a housekeeper for Moon, the owner of a leading travel agency, suddenly disappears soon after Kim Hak Soon’s confession of her experiences as a comfort woman was revealed to the world. After following rumors here and there, Moon finally finds Bae hiding in the house of her son and discovers that she was once a comfort woman. Moon sets her business aside and strives to help the victims by running a report center. After realizing that the fundamental cure for these women is the Japanese government’s official statement of apology and compensation, Moon prepares for trial at her own expense. Finally, in 1998, after 6 long years, they face the verdict of the Shimonoseki trial.

In Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, Qian Xiao Fei, who graduated from university two years ago, has been out of work for two months and can't pay her rent. She finally gets a job in the client service department of Charm, a beauty products company run by Cao Jun, whose product development head is ambitious Professor Chen Jia Rong. Xiao Fei discovers her boss is Gao Sha Sha, an old friend from high school who is now a high-powered executive. Much to the chagrin of Lei Xiao Zhi, who likes her, Sha Sha falls for Professor Chen. Meanwhile, Xiao Fei develops a close relationship with Lei Zhen Gyu, a photographer who is renting a room with the same landlady as her. Then one day, Sha Sha is kidnapped.

Following the previous projects since (2003), (2008) is the fourth omnibus project describing the theme of human rights. The fourth project is comprised of five short films made by five directors.

The five shorts included in are as follows: “Blue Birds on the Desk” deals with stress from extreme overload of schoolwork, “U and Me” shows fear about uncertain future of teenagers, “Relay” is about concerns of teenage single mothers, “The Theory & Practice of Teenage Drama” is a portrait of today’s youth living in times of serious unemployment, “Girl on the Run” is a story about insecure futures of those students pursuing a career in sports.

To achieve immortality, fox spirit Bai Shisan disguises as a young man and travels to the human world in search of a divine pill. There he befriends the innocent scholar Wang Zijin whom he later realizes is the key to his transcendence. To keep Wang safe, Bai must bond with him on his road to the imperial examination and fends off threats from mythic creatures and evil spirits. ~~ Adapted from the novel "Chunjiang Hua Yueye", but the characters and stories are original.
