Sato Yui is a dispatched contract worker at Amagi Pharmaceutical Company. Her pet has died and she feels deep sorrow over its death. One day, she drinks alone at a bar and shouts, with tears running down her face, "Develop medicine to bring back someone to life!" At that time, a man walks towards her. He makes a spiteful remark that that there is no such medicine that can bring someone back to life. He also tells her to stop barking and to go home. Yui feels anger within herself and she trips him. She then leaves the bar. Yui is unaware that the man she tripped is Amagi Kyoichi and he is the CEO of Amagi Pharmaceutical Company.

The next day, Yui hears at work that the CEO is looking for her. When she gets to his office, she realizes the man she tripped in the bar is the CEO. She thinks that she might get fired, but he suddenly tells her to "Please treat me as a slave."

This drama follows the lives of two men and a woman through two eras: one during the 1930s Japanese occupation of Korea and the other in the 21st century. The three main characters are:

(1) Han Se Joo who was a writer in his past life and a bestselling author in the present. But Se Joo is depressed with writer’s block so he can't write his next book.

(2) Yu Jin Oh owned a bar in his previous life. In 2017 he is a talented ghostwriter who can bail Se Joo out of his predicament, but the mysterious man has a condition for his services. Se Joo may not be able to meet it.

(3) Jeon Seol was a sniper. Now she has extremely varied expertises. She is a former Olympian hopeful, a veterinarian and a book lover who runs her own delivery service. She oscillates between extreme fandom and an anti-fandom of Se Joo.

The intricately woven story of these three characters unfolds to reveal strange mirroring connections between the time periods as well as possibilities for past lives to be redeemed or improved in the modern world.

In 1990, Hagizaki Tatsuo, the accounting department chief of Ukishima Electric Works, was busy negotiating on getting a loan together with Sekino, the company's general manager. However, just as they were about to get the funds, Sekino was involved in a 200 million yen fraud and he later disappeared with the loan. The company decides to cover up the incident to protect its image, but Hagizaki wants to get to the bottom of the matter with the help of his newspaper reporter friend, Muraki. Hagizaki later notices that the case becomes darker and darker as he continues to investigate. He then meets a beautiful woman, Uezaki Etsuko, whom he believes hold the key to the entire incident.

My Prince tells the story of an ordinary family, a mother who loves money and her four handsome sons. Li Xiu Yun's biggest wish is to see her sons marry rich girls. She's lazy and spends most of her time gambling or talking with the neighbours while letting her sons run the household and their small flower shop. Her oldest son, Zhi Kai, works as a team leader in a company. He's very serious about work and is a responsible family man. The second son, Zhi Wen, is an unknown model. He's popular with the ladies and likes spending his spare time flirting in bars and clubs. Of course, his big brother has to then help him pick up the tabs. Zhi Chen, the third son, is a man of few words. He works in a wine bar as a bartender. The youngest of them all, Zhi Xiao, is good-natured and helps his mother run the flower shop as well as take care of the handiwork around the house. When he was little, he ran a very high fever which rendered him both deaf and mute. But still, he keeps smiling as if nothing has happened. Everyone likes him, and his brothers are all very protective of him.

Mihoshi Taiyo is the CEO of investment company Sunshine Fund and self-proclaimed human investor. He holds the belief that "Assets are people. No investor will dispose of their assets." Mihoshi Taiyo approaches people who are having difficulties in their personal lives or business career. He talks to them and proposes doing a start-up together, allowing them to dream again.
