In 1986, when Yugoslav nuclear power expert Lehmann came to the East China Sea to inspect nuclear power and question China's ability to build nuclear power plants, fitter Ye Jia Ming and buyer Lin Tian Chen, becomes his first supporters.

This NHK drama is one of the best in years with an excellent cast, a well-developed story based on extensive research into the traditional worlds of candy making and the tea ceremony in Kyoto, and beautiful scenery and settings in Kyoto and the surrounding areas.

Later, Jing Tian realizes that Long Kui is telling the truth so she journeys with them. Next, Xu Chang Qing meets Zi Xuan, a 200 year old descendant of the Nuwa goddess. Chang Qing discovers his memory of her was sealed and she was in fact the love of his life in two lifetimes. Struggling to deal with his feelings and carrying the burden to save the world, he initially rejects her. Jing Tian also comes to realise he was Fei Peng (2,000 years ago) and Long Yang (1,000 years ago). Xue Jian also finds out that she was originally a fruit created by Xi Yao, a goddess who guards the tree in the heavenly realm. It blooms a flower in 500 years and grows a fruit in 1,000 years. Eventually, Xie Jian Xian takes over the world, and is in control of all 6 realms making him close to impossible to defeat. Jing Tian combines powers with everyone, along with Chang Qing to defeat him. Long Kui sacrificed herself by sealing her spirit into the sword to strengthen it.

Kurata Kenta lives with his father, Taichi, his mother, Keiko, and his younger sister, Nana in an isolated home in the suburbs. He works as an unpopular commercial designer. After that incident, Kenta's family home is targeted by an unknown person with flowers from their garden being pulled out and the seat of a bicycle being torn. Also, Kenta's younger sister Nana is stalked by her ex-boyfriend. Kenta and his family try to find out who is responsible.

His life is forever changed when a musical crystal ball he bought as an important gift for Phrae Mai transports him back in time to the age of eighteen. Everything turns upside-down. Instead of fulfilling his hopes and setting things right with Phrae Mai, Botkawee somehow ends up in the arms of Pisaeng. Thus begin their cat and mouse games with Pisaeng chasing after Botkawee. Old feelings for Phrae Mai, however, become a detriment to their blossoming romance. Enraged, Botkawee keeps twisting the crystal ball in an attempt to get his desired results.
