Misaki Koko, a university professor, receives a phone call out of the blue from her former boyfriend, Yagisawa Shun, who is now an executive officer of a television network. Yagisawa has been asked by Yamashiro Taizo, the leader of Meisei Party, to introduce Koko. Yamashiro intends to bring Koko in as a civilian cabinet minister with the aim of regaining political control in the next general election. Hiroko has kept a distance from politicians because of a past feud with her father. She hesitates, not able to give Yamashiro a reply. However, several days later, an article announcing her appointment appears in the newspapers. This is Yamashiro's strategy to draw her in. Unable to back out, Koko decides to enter politics with the support of her husband, Nobuaki. However, right after she takes office, she is faced with an unprecedented crisis. The story takes place in a police academy boarding school. Hiro grew up in a normal household; however, as not to become a burden for her family, she opts for a realistic job of being a police officer, leading her to question herself of whether she truly wants to be one. “S Class” consists of students including former delinquent, a dropout, going in it for the money, no real aspirations, below average grades, bad health, coward, or just simply a misfit. Will they be able to get used to their strict dorm life and be able to graduate!?

To their horror, the once majestic city had turned into a sad ruin left behind by a century of grave robbing. These two artists became ardent Dunhuang advocates. They roused the local people to protect and rebuild their ancient city.

One day, Nobuo Harada starts work as a Japanese language teacher at a high school. He is gay and dresses like a woman. He sympathizes with the lives and worries of his students.
