Yang Mei was told by his descendants, who came from the year 2466, that if he respect and abide by the ways of his ancestors, he would be ride of the 18 generations of bad luck his descendants have to endure. With help from her grandmother's a magical stone left by Hai Bo, but accidentally used the stone to recall a character from famous novel "The Deer and the Cauldron" (Author: Louis Cha).

Dan Bi (Kim Seul Gi) is a senior high school student who is also an applicant for the College Scholastic Ability Test. She gave up studying math and on the day of the test, she fell into time lapse and lands somewhere in Joseon era. She then falls in love with Lee Do (Yoon Doo Joon), The king who craves math.

At the Playboys Private Detective Agency, all the members are men older than 55. The director of the private detective agency is an ex-detective. The members of the agency have varied backgrounds like a former taxi driver, physician and ex-Olympic athlete. Koichiro Iwase (Katsumi Takahashi) worked in the sales department of a consumer electronics company, but he now works as a private detective. He tries to solve clients' request, while sometimes cooperating and sometimes opposing the other members of the Playboys Private Detective Agency.

Na Hana loves money more than anything. she left her home town for Seoul. She decided that the only way she could be with money is to marry a rich man who will die soon. She soon meets Yoon Ho Sang, a young man who is a poor, troublemaker, and also loves money, but is in diguise of a very rich man who died. these two meet and soon love sparks but Ho Sang has a serious cancer problem which he first lied to a man who he owes money to.
