Takeno Seigi runs "Koi no Mi", a nearly bankrupt cake shop in a shuttered shopping street. Since he was a child, he had loved the cakes his father made, and together with his wife, Aya, he inherited the shop from his parents, whom he lost at an early age. However, he ends up resorting to committing evil deeds in order to protect his cherished shop and family.
