Adorable and bubbly, Zhou Xiao is a favorite among her peers. A university literature student with a penchant for detective novels, she spends her days lost in the pages of her favorite mysteries, always eager to find out what happens next. With such a devoted love of such stories, it comes as no surprise when she finds herself falling for one of the university’s forensic science majors.

A seriously dedicated student in the forensic science department, Zhao Fanzhou has little time for anyone or anything, other than his studies. Cold and detached, he is the last person anyone would ever expect would fall in love. But when he meets Zhou Xiao, that’s exactly what happens. Wooed by her many charms, it doesn’t take long for the two to become a couple. But nothing lasts forever.

Wu Yi, a former Taekwondo practitioner, is decidedly down on her luck. But her first assignment is as tough as they come. She has to protect a fabulously rich and handsome but ruthless man nicknamed Marquis around the clock. He isn’t short on enemies, meaning danger awaits at almost every turn. She will have to put her body on the line if she is to keep Marquis safe. But it turns out that even if he does has a lot of personality quirks, Marquis has a softer side, too. And as the two start to develop a close bond, Wu Yi discovers that he may even help her succeed in her quest to reunite with her child!

Three years into their amorous marriage, Michio and Rumiko (affectionately nicknamed each other "Mittang" and "Rumitang") continue to be the most lovey dovey couple in town. Mittang is swooped up by a major advertising agency, offered a lucrative chance to work overseas and seems to be heading for big-time success. All that changes when he receives word that his wife was involved in a minor bicycle accident. That was enough to make Mittang quit his job to stay close to his one and only love, who after the accident, is no longer the same Rumitang he knew. His lovely wife exhibits phenomenal memory recall powers, but with one little glitch, cute Rumitang transforms into a craggy-faced, but well-known mnemonic specialist called Tamachi Kouji. Luckily, the metamorphosis is only temporary. As the lovebirds begin working at an odd job business where they can be together 24/7, they encounter quirky characters like a two-timing secretary, a neighbor's husband with a roving eye for the ladies, and deal with Mittang's vertically-challenged father-in-law. As a result, they find themselves involved in even quirkier situations.

Inspiration can come from the most unexpected places. Lu Da Xiang is a former professional baseball player who was fired because of his uncontrollable temper. He becomes a high school social studies teacher and is the homeroom teacher for the 8th Class of third-year students (final year of high school). Although Da Xiang is very blunt and temperamental, he truly cares about his students and wants to make sure they pass their exams to graduate.

Tang Ke Xin is a fellow English teacher as well as the school counselor. As she tries to help Da Xiang with his students, Li Kang Bao, a rival teacher for the 7th Class, doesn’t appreciate Da Xiang’s unconventional teaching methods.

Can Da Xiang accomplish his goal of ensuring that at least half of his homeroom class graduates?

Chen Mai Dong was once a rebellious youth, but after experiencing a life-changing event, he chose to become a funeral makeup artist. Zhuang Jie became disabled due to a car accident, but she worked hard and became a career elite in the big city in order to pursue a better self.

One is a funeral makeup artist with a rebellious personality but is emotionally and physically lonely; the other is a brave and dazzling medical salesperson with physical defects. Through constant struggles, they gradually understand and respect each other, healing each other’s “imperfections” with love.
