In a collaboration between Cheeze Film & EA, this short film depicts Gabin's attempts to ask out her crush before he moves away, including practicing on The Sims 4.

A dynamic young entrepreneur finds herself locked in a hotel room with the corpse of her dead lover. She hires a prestigious lawyer to defend her and they work together to figure out what actually happened.

Although director Kumai's The Sea and Poisin won a lot of awards(10), both in Japan and Berlin, the uncomfortable nature of the subject matter for most Japanese did not help his popularity at home. Kumai as always tries to paint a completely honest and accurate portrait of the events covered by the film. The result is hard-hitting cinema that indicts the patronage system in Japanese hospitals of the time, the politicization of the medical profession and, most central to the film, the 'poisining' by militarization of the ethical culture of the medical profession. Kumai's direction is clean and straightforward. The story is told through the eyes of two interns and a nurse, who face interogation by the US Military after the war. Their responses to the interrogation generate flash-backs which show us the events in question. The film gives us a clear description of the system in which the characters found themselves, the varying moral decisions they were forced to make and their reasoning. The cast is superb and all are seasoned actors. Eiji Okuda and Ken Watanabe are both strong as the two interns. The part of the head nurse, though it's a supporting role, is played by Kyoko Kishida, who most will remember for her superb role as the female lead in Teshigahara's "Woman of the Dunes (Sands)". For the small supporting role of the poor elderly woman slowly dying in the ward who will likely never be considered important enough to warrant an operation, Kumai chose Noriko Sengoku. She has had a long career playing supporting roles, including in several films by Kurosawa and Naruse including The Seven Samurai, Floating Clouds and in Kobayashi's Kwaidan. Toshie Negishi plays the other nurse with a significant role. She has also had a long career working for the likes of Kurosawa, Imamura, Obayashi and Miike. All give strong performances under Kumai's direction. This is another strong film by Kei Kumai. I know I am biased by my admiration for Kumai's work, but he never lets me down and this is no exception. It's not a fun flic, but it draws you into the world and psyche of some well developed characters and their times. There are also some well shot and highly dramatic operating room scenes. Enjoy this when you're in the mood for some serious cinema.

A high profile defence lawyer is promised a Rajya Sabha seat if he wins a case of an accused with charges of killing two migrant children. However, there's much more than what meets the eye in this courtroom drama that explores the uncertainty of human mind and the journey of criminal discovery.

Makoto encounters the love of his life in the girl called Shizuru. However their relationship turns brief as Makoto discovers that Shizuru's photographic know how, outmatches his own and won some international award. They end up separating with her extracting a promise from dream of becoming a professional photographer. Three years later, the promise still hasn't been fulfilled. After spending 17 years behind bars, Hyun-Woo (Ji Jin-Hee) is released from prison. During his college days, Hyun-Woo was involved in the student led anti-government protests that swept across Korea in the early 1980’s. Now that he is finally free, Hyun-Woo travels back to the town where he spent a few precious months immediately prior to his arrest. 17 years ago, Hyun-Woo fled into the rural areas of Korea, hiding from the government that was trying to quash his anti-government group. He found sanctuary in the home of Han Yoon-Hee (Yum Jung-Ah). She was a former sympathizer to the anti-government cause, but now living a modest life as a teacher in a small rural community. The couple quickly became intimate, Hyun-Woo able to provide the spark that was missing from Han Yoon-Hee’s simple life.

Unfortunately, while Hyun-Woo was still hiding in Han Yoon-Hee’s home, he learned that most of his fellow anti-government protesters were captured & imprisoned. Even though the government now has Hyun-Woo high on their most wanted list, he feels ashamed that he is living peacefully while his friends are imprisoned. Thus, he makes the difficult decision to leave Han Yoon-Hee and go back to the movement centered in Seoul. What he would later learn is that he left behind the sole person that would stay faithful to him throughout his 17 year imprisonment and also the woman that is carrying his baby.

Many cases are unbelievable and full of unsolved mysteries. Villagers strongly believe that Jao Mae Nakee did all those and she is going on a rampage once again. Moreover, many things that happened makes villagers totally believe that Sroi is the psychic medium of Jao Mae Nakee. Even Inspector Pongprap who never believed in mysterious and supernatural beings also uncertain about the allegation on her. So he decided to find out the truth behind all those mysterious crimes in Don Mai Pah Village.
