Maeyakorn, the fuddle player, need to help Yot, the heir of this song composer, to find out the truth when her friend and teacher die after singing this song. They then find out that composer of this song is teacher Terd not Pook. Terd's spirit is still here with that song and will kill everyone who sing it. They will ruin this song but someone steal the lyrics.

Round Six depicts a story of people who decide to become the players of a mysterious survival game that has a whopping 40-million-dollar prize at stake. Gi-hun, played by Lee Jung-jae, seems defeated by life after being fired from his job. He decides to join the survival game to win prize money. Sang-woo, played by Park Hae-soo, is Gi-hun’s childhood friend and he also joins the game as he gets in trouble at work despite all the hard work he has done to be where he is at now.

The literal translation of Round Six’s Korean title is ‘Squid Game’ (오징어 게임), which is the street game Gi-hun and Sang-woo played together when they were young. It’s quite a physical game that only ends when there’s a final winner, much like the survival game they play now. It’s named as such because players are to draw different geometric shapes on the ground, which, as a whole, look like a squid.

Kagawa Eiji is a detective who looks more like a gangster. He previously worked at the Metropolitan Police Department investigating organized crime groups, but he was recently demoted to the Sakuramachi Chuo Police Station without given a reason why. Kagawa Eiji desires to return to the Metropolitan Police Department to get answers. Meanwhile, he works with Detective Hasumi Kosuke at the Sakuramachi Chuo Police Station. Detective Hasumi Kosuke carries a big secret that has never been revealed.

A case comes up, where a housekeeper, working at a professor's house, is stabbed to death. At that time, a rookie detective, Mizuki Nao, begins to work with them. Kagawa Eiji and Hasumi Kosuke are bothered by her. She is the daughter of the assistant commissioner at the Metropolitan Police Department. They begin to work together.
