10 years after her middle school days and now a full grown woman, Takagi-san returns to the middle school where she graduated from as a trainee trainer. There, she meets Nishikata who was one of her middle school classmates and he was frequently teased by her. Now, Nishikata works as a PE teacher at the same school.

Set in Harbin under the puppet Manchukuo regime in 1944, Song Zhuo Wen, an underground party member disguised as a railway police officer, is mistakenly identified by the head of the spy department, Guan Xue, as her lifesaver—but is actually Zhuo Wen's long-lost twin brother, Song Zhuo Wu. To uncover the ultimate mission of Kwantung Army officer Asano Daigo in Harbin, Zhuo Wen decides to use Guan Xue to infiltrate the spy department, but the sudden appearance of Zhuo Wu plunges him into unexpected trouble. Guan Xue is cold-blooded and suspicious, cruel and ruthless, while Zhuo Wu is impulsive by nature, often unintentionally sabotaging Zhuo Wen's operations. Pavornruj and Princess Wanrasa, is the First Secretary of the Thai Embassy in Bern, whose job is to support Thai students. This is a perfect setting for romance, but not a love triangle.

Things get complicated when Cheewan falls for Saruj while she is supposed to play Cupid for her Poncheewa and Saruj. They become entangled in a web of lies and jealousy that threatens to tear apart the cousins’ once unbreakable bond.
