With his parents frequently away for work, Natsukawa Ryota had been the main caretaker for his younger sisters and the housework, but now he’s finally about to go to University, he’s looking forward to being able to live freely on his own! However, in a surprising turn of events, he’s surprised to discover his roommate will be his childhood friend Tanaka Kazuhito. Despite his picture-perfect looks and pleasant personality, Kazuhito doesn’t have a girlfriend. Curious, Ryota accompanies him in searching for the reason why, but is unable to find any flaws and finds his heart fluttering over Kazuhito’s kind words and actions. Worada is a naive and weak young woman. She's the daughter of a rich man and his unlawful wife, even though her mother was the first wife. Her father has a married wife (legal one) and has another daughter who is younger than Worada. Worada's step-mother and half-sister hate her. Her half-sister hates her mostly also because she loves Krit, Worada's lover.

One day, Krit tells Worada that he wants to see her at night. That night she was waiting for Krit and was hit on the head without knowing who did it. When she wakes up, she finds herself inside the underground shelter (that she and Krit accidently discovered and kept it as a secret). She thinks that Krit wanted to kill her. Inside the shelter, she is hungry, cold and tired. Before she dies, she makes a strong vow that if she is born again, she will be a much stronger person and seek revenge against the people who hurt her. Then she dies.

Worada was born again as Nattamon. Nattamon is a girl who has a supernatural power. She is a very strong girl, but always has nightmares. When she grows up, she finds out why she was reborn and starts to seek revenge. When she meets Krit again (he is in his 40's while Nattamon is in her 20's), she thinks that he is the person who tried to kill her. Meanwhile, Krit has been single ever since Worada died and is happy to see the woman he always loved came back.

With an underlying theme of hope in a stressful, disconnected world, this drama centers around filial piety, family bonds and people of good character. This drama reveals the true meaning of marriage and love by depicting the current dating scene and social attitudes while contrasting the personalities amongst young people looking for a husband based on the man's social and wealth status instead of true love. There are good times and also bad times in life, but by having your loved ones by your side will make every day feel like a pleasant springtime.

The story opens after a young female student kills herself by jumping off a balcony. It's soon discovered that she was in fact stabbed, and the room arranged to make it look like a suicide. And so we begin. A few minor details lead Detective Kanzo to suspect that Ryo , an enigmatic chef's assistant, knows more about her death.The two have run into each other by chance a few times, and each time left Kanzo with an uncomfortable feeling. Every clue that is revealed seems to lead to more questions about Ryo, his obsessive girlfriend, his callous and manipulative relations with several women, and about a painful memory from Kanzo's past.
