Around the time the atmosphere in the world is filled with cheer in preparation for Christmas, there are people completely detached from the gaiety with which Christmas Eve is eagerly anticipated. Some 20 days to Christmas, Daiwa Shunsuke and Orihara Shuko, a former couple who work at a children’s apparel company, learns that it will cease business at Christmas. With even its adjoining after-school care centre being shut down, Shuko decides to return to Niigata. Tadokoro Kohei, an elementary school boy who goes to the centre, is distressed by his parents. They are close to divorce and he wants to do something. He asks with Shuko to go with him to the Yokohama osteopathic clinic where his father works, but encounters debt-collecting gangsters over there. These gangsters are kindhearted small-timers who have descended into the underworld business although not by choice. The three groups seek love, get betrayed and have troubles. Even so, they struggle hard in their attempt to take a step out. Will the former couple be able to convey the love they have for each other? Can the boy prevent the divorce of his parents and protect his family? Will the small-time gangsters be able to hold on to love and tread the respectable path? These three groups somehow get entangled in this story with laughter and tears. Will Christmas miracles happen?

This drama portrays the life of the 19th king of Goguryeo, Hwanwoong, who was sent from the heavens to make the world a better place. He falls in love with Saeoh and gives her the joojak necklace; however, Kajin becomes jealous since Saeoh has given birth to Hwanwoong's son. She takes the baby and throws him off a cliff. Saeoh, thinking that her son had died, is overcome with grief and turns into the black joojak to destroy the world. Hwanwoong is the only one who could stop her. Afterwards, Hwanwoong returns to the Heavens and prophecizes that 2000 years later, the true Joo Shin king will come to Earth. With the help of the four gods, he will rebuild Joo Shin.

One night, Shirou Kazami accidentally witnesses a murder by the evil organization Destron, making him their next target. In their first attempt, they planted a bomb pebble into his coffee, but the attempt was foiled when Shirou's sister, Yukiko, surprised him, causing him to spill his coffee. In their second attempt, they attacked him while practicing motorcycle racing with Tobei Tachibana. In their third atttempt, a Destron soldier, disguised as a doctor, tried to put a poison shot in Shirou, while he was being transported to the hospital (after Destron's second attempt), but Shirou regains consciousness and kills the soldier. Meanwhile, a young woman named Junko Tama stumbled upon Destron's base. Suddenly, she was attacked by Destron. While trying to escape, she ran into Shirou, who was heading home on his motorcycle, but Shirou didn't see the Destron soldiers. Surprised, Junko fainted and Shirou took her home. While Junko was being taken care of by Shirou's family, Shiro reported her story to the police. When he returned home, he found his family being murdered by the Hasami Jaguar, a jaguar monster with blades for hands. Hasami Jaguar then prepares to kill Junko and Shirou, but is stopped by Shirou's high school teacher, Takeshi Hongo, who transformed into Kamen Rider 1. Shortly after he drove off the Destron forces, Kamen Rider 2 shows up, but too late. A vengeance-fueled Shiro asked the Riders to turn him into a cyborg, but the Riders refused, explaining to Shirou what would happen if he did get turned into a cyborg: he wouldn't be able to live up to his family. Then the Riders asked Junko for the location of the Destron base she stumbled upon earlier. The next day, the Riders infiltrate the base, only to get caught in a trap. Shirou shows up and saves their lives, but gets injured in the process. The Riders had no choice but to turn Shirou into a cyborg. When the Riders were attacked, and almost killed, by Kame Bazooka, Shirou shows up as Kamen Rider V3. Now, Shirou uses his new power to protect mankind against Destron.

With Gallen Lo, Felix Wong, Sunny Chan, Nick Cheung, Amy Kwok, Kathy Chow, Ada Choi, Jessica Hsuan, Paul Chun, Suet Nei, and Melissa Ng onboard, the star-studded cast assembled for the TVB grand production Secret of the Heart is one that can hardly be surpassed. Producer Jonathan Chik (Cold Blood Warm Heart, At the Threshold of an Era) is known for his sophisticatedly crafted family infighting sagas, and the 62-episode drama has rightfully been considered one of the best of its kind thanks to its gripping narrative and attractive actors. Secret of the Heart swept the 1998 TVB Anniversary Awards with Gallen Lo and Ada Choi crowned My Favorite Actor and Actress, respectively, and Nick Cheung winning Best Improvement Award. It also dominated the viewership ratings during its initial run; in fact, even the recent late-night re-run on TVB still posted impressive ratings. Kam Leung Wan (Nick Cheung) grew up as the only son to airline magnate Kam Shu Pui (Paul Chun). But when it is revealed that his best friend Ching Ka Hung (Sunny Chan) is actually his half-brother and Pui's real son, Wan would stop at nothing to keep hold of what he has got, even if that means getting rid of Hung and anyone that stands in his way... Meanwhile, Hung's eldest sister Ka Ming (Amy Kwok) loses her life savings to her gambler boyfriend Cheuk Sheung Man (Gallen Lo). She later marries Pui's younger brother Shu Sang (Felix Wong), but her sister Ka Wai (Kathy Chow) falls in love with Sang secretly and even gets pregnant with his baby...

During the late Heian era, a youth who did not know his birth parents was raised by the Heike (also known as the Taira), a samurai clan of emerging influence. Taira no Kiyomori (Matsuyama Kenichi) was in truth the illegitimate son of Emperor Shirakawa. With his adoptive father, Tadamori (Nakai Kiichi), he got rid of the pirates in the Seto Insland Sea, and was trained to be a samurai. In a period where the samurai were being discriminated by the aristocrats of the upper echelons of society, Kiyomori, who was adept at winning hearts and minds, controlled the pirates. He worked to reform the aristocracy, persisted with the way of life of the samurai and built up the mighty Taira clan (Nakamura Baijaku, Kamikawa Takaya, Fujimoto Takahiro, Daito Shunsuke). Before long, he rose from a senior courtier of the third rank to become the chief minister and the ruler of Japan.

The Young Kindaichi is back and better than ever! In this first of many cases, Kindaichi finds himself onboard a cruise ship in which the captain mysteriously disappears the day after a big party. A search of the ship finds nothing, except for little drops of blood on the light switch in the captain's room. Might it be a clue perhaps? You bet! When what looks to be a case of serious foul play unfolds, the ship's radio is found disabled-so much for contacting the authorities. So, far out at sea until they can reach land, it's up to Kindaichi and friends to find the killer - and stay alive!

It follows Kanda and Fukumaru as they experience the joys of living together and learning about each other.
