A gourmet drama starring Hidekazu Mashima. Mashima plays Susumu Takamiya, a salaryman who works in the internal audit office of a non-life insurance company, who takes out local gourmet food on the Shinkansen on the way home from a business trip and enjoys the "Izakaya Shinkansen". Takamiya, who travels all over the country on a day trip, spends a blissful time enjoying ekiben, local cuisine, local sake and sweets on the Shinkansen.

The story follows what happens when an ordinary family that is on the verge of collapse due to bankruptcy and internal feuds gets involved with a bloodthirsty drug ring. In the midst of dangerous missions and close calls, the members of the family will band together and become a model family as they stand up against the drug ring that threatens their livelihoods.
