Wanida is a story about one woman’s patience, goodness and her great love. Major Prajuab Mahasak was offered to get married with Wanida Wongwiboon, Dao's daughter to repay for the debt that he borrowed from Dao. If not, he would be sued and it would dishonor his family.

Uji and Sabae, both university students, are good friends from the same club.Uji has feelings for Sakurai, who is both popular in their club and Sabae’s best friend, but he hasn’t been able to talk to her much. Ling Xi wanted to return him back to the forest right away but she couldn't help but allow him to stay for work reasons. Living under one roof, Mo Ge Li and Ling Xi start to develop a unique relationship. He learns the ways of the world with Ling Xi's help and acts as a bridge bringing her and the people around him closer to nature.

The 31st NHK Asadora Drama is Oshin. Oshin tells the story of a girl born in a very poor rural family in Japan, who through hard work and perseverance eventually triumphs over pain and adversity to achieve fame and success. Broadcast in the early 1980s when Japan had finally cast off the legacy of the post-war years and the Japanese were beginning to reap the benefits of economic development, the aim of the story was to recall the hardships the older generation had endured in order to pave the way for their children to enjoy their more affluent lifestyle. Viewers were drawn to the suffering of the main character Oshin - and then drew similarities between her story and their own home lives.

Some Japanese worried that showing Oshin abroad would give the country a bad profile - and would even be shameful because it showed the seldom glimpsed, poor, unequal side of Japan. In the event, the reverse proved true. Oshin gave viewers outside Japan - whose only image of Japan was formed by Japanese cars or electric goods, or through bitter memories of Japanese treatment during World War II - a far better understanding of the modern Japan and its people.

A Chinese Odyssey: Love of Eternity is another adaptation of the classic story “The Journey to the West”.

At the end of the first year of high school, Yoshioka Futaba meets Tanaka Kou who was her first love. In their middle school days, they attended the same school, but he suddenly transferred to another school. Three years later, he appears in front of her again with the different last name of Mabuchi Kou. His personality also seems to have changed from warm to cold. He is like a totally different person from three years ago. Yoshioka Futaba slowly learns what happened to Mabuchi Kou for the past three years and she become to have feelings for him again.

But just as Charmaine edges closer to the truth, Michael suddenly halts the operation. This is when Sharon Chan from the ICAC intervenes into the case. Through Sharon, Michael meets her elder sister, Elena Kong. Meanwhile, the triad leader Benz Hui has been released from jail and his assistant Sammy Sum's actions is catching Michael's attention. The relationships between the police and the triad become increasingly complex; with everyone claiming to be fighting for justice, who truly dictates justice?
