A mystery drama about warm friendship and humanity unfolds when Dong Joo, a passionate young man who only has debts, meets Kang San.

Yook Dong Joo is an aspiring writer with an ambitious dream of becoming a best-selling author someday. A disharmonious romance begins when a mysterious unidentified boy, Kang San, falls into his life. Kang San has amnesia and can't even remember his own name, but he has the special ability to hear other people's hearts.

Shinigami Kun (Satoshi Ono) is an Angel of Death and he is sometimes called Angel of Death Number 413. He informs people of their impending death and then takes them to the spirit world upon their death. He wears a black suite and a bow tie and appears about 30 years in age. He has a helper (Mirei Kiritani) who appears as a crow in the human world. Mami Kobayashi (Riho Takada) is a pretty high school student. Her face was recently burned in a fire, which leads to Mami attempting to jump off the rooftop of the hospital. At that time, Shinigami Kun appears and tells her that she can't die yet. Mami has one friend Fukuko Oonish (Sakurako Ohara) who cares about her. Prior to the accident, Mami was popular with the boys because of her beautiful appearance. Fukuko Oonish was the one who made Mami Kobayashi look even better because of Fukuko Oonish’s ordinary appearance.  Meanwhile, Fukuko Oonish tries to comfort Mami Kobayashi. Then, Shinigami Kun appears in front of Fukuko Oonish and tells her “You have three days to live. Hopefully you can live the 3 days without regret."   

Ohno plays the role of Tarui Shotaro, an ordinary guy who dreamed of becoming a hero when he was a child, but now gets by as a part-time worker. The unexpected story unfolds when one day, the daughter of a yakuza boss asks him to plan a make-believe kidnapping. Sato Ryuta plays Shotaro’s co-worker who helps him with the kidnapping. Kanjiya Shihori plays Satsuki, the eldest daughter of the Hanazono yakuza clan, while Narimiya Hiroki plays Satsuki’s college senpai who joined the Hanazono clan after graduation. Takahashi Katsumi plays the head of a rival organization who has fallen in love with Satsuki. Kitaoji Kinya plays Satsuki’s father and the head of the Hanazono clan.
