A romance drama.

In the final days of World War II, occupying Japanese forces in the Philippines face resistance from the local population and the American offensive. The dwindling Japanese soldiers attempt to survive through the horrors of war.

Kurumi Nanba (Ai Hashimoto) is a student majoring in math at prestigious university. She's viewed as a weirdo due to her poor communication skills, but having a genius level intellect. Meanwhile, Tatsuhiko Handa (Kengo Kora) is a young detective. Kurumi Nanba and Tatsuhiko Handa work together to solve difficult cases including a series of bomb explosions, a locked-room murder and corporate blackmail.

Siblings Li, Pakorn and Pawin were born into a family of Chinese traders. The three are affectionate, always taking good care of each other. Pakorn doesn't receive the equal love of their father, Ko Beng, however. He was born during the recession and is therefore branded a jinx, unlike Pawin who was born during the period of trade recovery and regarded as the family's golden child.

Two factors bring their sibling love to a turning point. The first is Rungtawan, the daughter of business owners down their same lane. The second is Asalha or Ah, a thief Pakorn mistakenly gets involved with and who incriminates him in a violent crime.

Their steadfast sibling love is transformed into a feud between outlaw and rookie cop.

Yusa Kiyoharu from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department is a cool-headed detective who is in charge of the investigation frontline and will do whatever it takes to achieve his objectives. One day, when he wakes up in a forest, he finds a gun in his right hand, and a dead female detective lying beside him …

This woman was his superior. Did he kill her or was he set up by someone? There is a gap of several months in his memory. Yusa’s buddies turn enemies overnight and he is pursued as a murder suspect. His only partner is a teenage boy who was the female detective’s only son. Eventually, the case gets linked with the truth of the unsolved 1 billion yen heist.

On the day of registering marriage, Wu You did not appear due to a car accident. Her boyfriend broke up with her and went overseas. Filled with sadness, Wu You puts all her mind into work yet love sparks between her and the “Devil King” He Xi Ya.

The story revolves around two detectives who dig into mysterious incidents that happen in a village. The drama will reinterpret those events and the characters in the book to match Korean sentiments, and it will show the ugly side of human nature.

Go Jung Woo when was younger, he was smart enough to be on the early admission list to medical school. He went on a trip after taking his SAT (scholastic ability test) but became a murderer ever since that day. He returns to his hometown after being released from prison and comes across what happened 11 years ago.
