Himawari is an unsuccessful 39-year-old enka singer who has bad luck with men and money. Born into an Osaka takoyaki shop, the young Himawari was inspired by her father's words to immerse herself in enka. At the age of 13 her father disappears and her mother, bitter over the husband that left her, remarries--but Himawari has trouble adjusting to a new father and brother. With her father's words in her head--"You're the #1 singer in all of Japan!"--Himawari immediately heads to Tokyo after high school and makes her debut as an enka singer.

Adapted from the novel AA Life, the series follows a family on an emotional journey as they implement After Marriage AA into their lives. This helps them resolve conflicts and problems in order to achieve an ideal happy married life.

The 44th NHK Taiga Drama is about the life of Minamoto no Yoshitsune (源 義経) (1159 - May_17, 1189) was a late Heian and early Kamakura general of the Minamoto clan of Japan. Yoshitsune was the ninth son of Minamoto no Yoshitomo. His older brother Minamoto no Yoritomo founded the Kamakura shogunate.

Both brothers and rivals, Kim Su Hyung (Jang Dong Gun) and Kim Jun Ki (Son Chang Min) are doctors at the same hospital. Young and promising figures in the field, Su Hyung and Jun Ki are dedicated to their profession, though not always as disciplined in other matters. Su Hyung's rash and insensitive personality often brings tears to his longtime girlfriend Min Joo (Lee Young Ae), who is also a doctor.
