ICAC Investigators is a long running family of Hong Kong television miniseries about the work of Hong Kong's Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC). The series are public awareness films produced by Radio Television Hong Kong, an independent department of the government, with the full co-operation of the ICAC itself. Each series dramatises real cases of the Commission and serves both to educate the populace against corrupt practises and as a public relations tool for the ICAC.

The main protagonist is Qin Zhan, an avid player of a popular online game called New Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils (it's both an actual game in China and a well-loved classic wuxia). Qin Zhan time travels into the game that he's been playing for ten years and gains incredible powers as a result. However, he also becomes the number one enemy of the entire martial arts world and must face the dangers and conspiracies that are thrown in his way.

The drama is about an unimaginable misfortune faced by three attractive female characters in their 30s, 40s and 50s, and the discord between married couples seeking true love.

The series revolves around the thoracic surgery department of a hospital.

Park Tae Soo (Go Soo) is a thoracic surgery fellow for four years whose mother is waiting for a heart transplant. Meanwhile, Choi Suk Han (Uhm Ki Joon) is a thoracic surgeon who is renowned for his skills but has not been treated fairly due to his humble medical background from a local university.

Han Sun Joo has everything from looks and intelligence to wealth. She is a great wife and mother, helping her husband with her exceptional skills and raising her son with her meticulous personality. Shin Myung Seop is Han Sun Joo’s husband. The male version of a modern Cinderella, Shin gradually climbs the ranks of his mother-in-law’s company, Lahen Group, following his marriage. Yoon Mi Ra is the woman who shakes up Shin Myung Seop’s heart. With a beautiful face and charm that makes her stand out anywhere she goes, Yoon Mi Ra is a character who’s loyal to her desires. She begins to covet Han Sun Joo’s husband Shin Myung Seop, causing a fierce war of nerves to unfold.

Han Jung Won is Han Sun Joo’s younger brother. Optimistic and warm-hearted, Han Jung Won is someone who trusts and relies on his older sister Han Sun Joon more than anyone else. He believes that he can do anything if it’s for his sister, raising questions about how Han Jung Won’s love for his sister will shake up the story.

To investigate a mysterious case, young policeman Chen Mo started a relentless investigation. With the help of chivalrous second generation heir Wang Zi, as well as the brave and determined host Su Wen, they eventually manage to bring the criminals to justice.
