Jang Tae Sang is a wealthy man. He is known as the most attractive man around Bukchon in Gyeongseong. He is also a reliable source of information around the area. His talents, including the ability to react quickly to situations, a keen insight, and sociability, have led him to his current position. He soon gets involved with Yoon Chae Ok, which leads him to reevaluate his priorities as a person.

Yoon Chae Ok is famous as a todugun (a person who finds missing people). As a young child, she traveled between Manchuria and Shanghai, China, with her father. Her life was not easy, and she learned at that time how to survive. She developed skills with shooting guns, using knives and handling machines. Her mother went missing 10 years ago. To find her mother, Yoon Chae Ok arrives in Gyeongseong. There, she becomes involved with Jang Tae Sang. They follow a series of mysterious missing person cases, and they come upon a terrible reality.

“Life is Beautiful” tells a story of a family living in Jeju Isalnd. Yang Byung Tae’s mother is a stubborn and tough family-head who holds the Yang family together despite of going through the heart-break of being betrayed by her husband. Byung Tae who married Kim Min Jae in his second marriage after the death of his first wife, brought in more people into his side of the family. His seemingly prefect elder son, Yang Tae Sub is actually having a love relation with another man which will be threatening to their family relations if he was discovered. His second son, Ho Sub who is their family’s trouble-maker, wants to be in tourist submarine business after failing in his studies while his youngest daughter, Cho Rong is after fame after being scouted as the resort model.

Kim Yoo Wol became an orphan and he was raised by foster parents. He worked extremely hard and passed his CPA exam. He enjoys happy days with his girlfriend Yoon Shi Wol, but he has a near-death experience. He changes his life and goes under the alias of Oh Tae Yang. He is dead to Yoon Shi Wol.

Meanwhile Yoon Shi ol, who believes her boyfriend Kim Yoo Wol is dead, has a difficult time. She begins to work at conglomerate company Yangji Group. There, she meets Oh Tae Yang.

The time spent at a family restaurant where the trio of Makubes 3, Haruto, Shunta, Junpei, hang out and discuss their comedy skit scripts. ~~ The program is unscripted, solely relying on the actors to stay in character and perform.

When Peng Fei was young, his father died a sudden death. Part 1 takes place at different points in time: The opening scene takes place 17 years prior to the series. The first half of the episode takes place approximately 15 years prior to the series at the height of the war of Wonder World, with more focus on the perspectives of Daichi Kamijo and Hayato Fukamiya. The second half comprises scenes up to the events of Episode 16 from the perspectives of Daichi, Master Logos, and Reika Shindai.
