Jung Se Ro is a hardworking young man who works multiple part-time jobs while studying for the foreign civil service exam. His father is a petty criminal and a con man, and their family lives a transient life because of his deals, currently staying in Thailand.

Despite wanting an honest life for himself, Se Ro's dreams are shattered on the night of a glamorous jewel exhibition opening in Bangkok. His father dies in an incident involving stolen diamonds, and because Se Ro was at the scene when another man was shot, he is accused and arrested for murder. After spending five years in a Thai prison, upon his release he takes up a new identity and becomes a con man just like his father. He joins a ring of jewel smugglers led by Park Kang Jae, with whom he shares a brotherly bond. Kang Jae was raised like a son by Se Ro's father, who taught him all the tricks of the trade. But Kang Jae has harbored a lifelong jealousy towards the real son, which is stoked further when the woman he loves, smuggling accomplice Seo Jae In also falls for Se Ro.

Then Se Ro meets Han Young Won, the cold-hearted heiress to a jewelry brand. She was madly in love with her fiancé Gong Woo Jin, and had closed herself off after his death. But Se Ro draws her out into the world, while Young-won gives him a reason to live when he had all but given up. They fall in love, not knowing that the man Se Ro was accused of killing had been Young Won's fiance. His love for her becomes his punishment, but also his salvation.

A story that follows an internet celebrity, a writer, a star, a fuerdai, a painter and many other public figures that are the subject of controversy in a reality show. It explores the dark humor between a public relations officer with a sharp tongue and a principled man.

The Monkey King: Quest for the Sutra (Chinese: 齊天大聖孫悟空) is a 2002 Hong Kong/Taiwanese TV series based on the classic Chinese novel: Journey to the West. It is also a remake of the 90's TVB version.

This is the second Monkey King that is portrayed by Dicky Cheung, the other one being "Journey to the West I" (1996). It is also the first Monkey King series that is not called "Journey to the West".

The story follows a young woman named Kano Jun, who was raised in Miyakojima, Okinawa. She begins working at a top-tier hotel in Osaka. There, she meets a man named Machida Itoshi (“Itoshi” is written with the same kanji as “ai”), whose brother has passed away. Although the two are very different, they fall in love.

31-year-old Iwasaki Urara became a lawyer and did a disservice to client because of her own mistake in her first court case. This traumatized her and she gave up being a lawyer. Fretting that she isn't cut out to be a lawyer, Urara ekes out a living by working part time. She is saddled with a debt of 4 million yen in fees to become a lawyer and her days are empty without purpose in life or work. On the other hand, 41-year-old elite lawyer Ebisawa Rinka works for the largest law firm in the industry and is also rumored to be a candidate for a position at the top. She lives in a high-rise apartment, and likes fine wines and branded goods. Her philosophy is “It’s meaningless if I don’t win” and she often wins cases through high-handed methods. However, the methods that Rinka used in a case becomes evident and she is fired from the law firm. In addition, she is ousted from the bar association and no longer able to stand in a courtroom. She has no choice but to build up confidence in the many court cases she won so that she can win back credibility as a lawyer. Making Urara’s acquaintance by chance, Rinka sets eyes on Urara’s legal qualifications. She makes Urara do her bidding in an attempt to somehow regain her own qualifications. Will the two women be able to grasp happiness both as a lawyer and a female?
