Somewhere at Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture lives a woman and her son. The woman is Mashiro Ao who has lost her husband and bookstore come home from the Tohoku earthquake. It has been 10 years since the disaster and Ao decides to renovate a vacant place and reopen the bookstore which her late husband used to love. Ao then meets an architect, Hayama Eiki who is not good at socialising. However, after much interactions, they begin to get attracted to each other.

Light Yagami (Masataka Kubota) is an ordinary university student. One day, he receives a death note which changes his life. The death note awakens his warped sense of justice and genius. He becomes murderer Kira and punishes criminals. L (Kento Yamazaki) is a well known private detective. L appears in front of Light Yagami. L defines Kira as evil and decides to catch Kira. Then N (Mio Yuki), who has a beautiful appearance but dangerous existence, appears.

When Ding Xiao Rou turned 17, a misunderstanding results in Xiao Rou believing that she will never find happiness. Yet she crosses paths with Chi Xin, thus starting a quirky romance. Ding Xiao Rou is an ordinary girl who believes herself to be 'cursed' when she was young to never find happiness.

One day, she meets the insomniac Chi Xin. What starts from overlapping misunderstandings between the two blossoms into an innate admiration for each other as two hearts grow closer over time.

When the Du family finally accepted Ke Jie is never going to come back, they start to pack her belongings. However, Shu Lei secretly takes Ke Jie’s bookcase... Due to a car accident, Shu Lei loses his memory. He moves to Yi Lan and opens a book store. One day, Ke Xing comes into his bookstore and sees Shu Lei. She realises he was her sister’s boyfriend but didn’t expect him to have amnesia. Ke Xing thought, if she can revive Shu Le’s memories, maybe she can earn the reward so her boyfriend Li Ze Xuan (Alien Huang) can start his own business. A property mogul is making development plans for Yi Lan. Dong Xin Ni is also participating in the project. Will she meet Shu Lei again? For her boyfriend, Ke Xing gets a job at the bookstore but unexpectedly, she is attracted to him...

Set in China’s hardscrabble, industrial northeast, it tells the story of a young police officer investigating the murder of a taxi driver, only to find a childhood friend may be involved. To solve the case, he explores layer by layer, revealing a past buried 12 years ago.
