Yanagi Kenta had quit his job with a big chemical firm, to succeed the family’s laundry business 3 years ago. At that time, he had divorced his wife, Saeko too. Being clueless on how to deal with the customers that walk through the door, Kenta leaves it to the family’s long serving employee, Yan, to run the shop. One day, he receives an invitation to the class reunion for the 34th batch students of Tachisakashita Middle High School, his alma mater 25 years ago. The invite brings to Kenta’s mind, memories of Akehi, the girl with whom he had been going out for a few months at that time. Akehi is now married to a famous hairstylist, Taro, with whom she has 3 children. On the surface, it looks like a happy and ideal marriage, but in actual fact, Taro is a temperamental man who makes Akehi feel really small with his cutting words. Sakurai Ryosuke was the popular guy back at school. He too is married, but he feels suffocated in his marriage and wishes to find true love. The drama is an action suspense which follows college student sisters named Kai and Riku. They were spending every day peacefully, but one day, their father gets arrested on suspicion of burglary and murder. In order to return 100 million yen that is supposed to have been stolen by the father, the sisters become bounty hunters, and chase after 4 criminals.

With a name that means “happiness”, one might suspect that He Xing Fu’s life would be full of nothing but joy. Unfortunately, as is the case for so many of us, Xing Fu’s life was filled with several ups and downs that brought as many moments of sorrow as they did joy. Even at her wedding, which should have been one of the happiest days of her life, Xing Fu was forced to deal with a fair amount of mortification after her sister, He Xing Yun suffered unexpected humiliation. To make matters worse, the village chief’s son, Wan Chuan Jia was injured which won her no favors with the village chief, Wan Shang Tang.

Despite the unexpected mayhem at her wedding, Xing Fu settled happily into her new life with her husband, Wang Qing Lai. Sadly, their happiness was soon disrupted after a new health care product factory moved to town and almost immediately requisitioned her in-law’s land. Refusing to give up the land without a fight, Xing Fu decides to team up with Shang Tang to take the factory owners to court. Unfortunately, things don’t work out in their favor. Ultimately forced into the city to find work, Xing Fu does the best she can but the struggles of city life prove too much for this small-town woman.

Returning to her village, Xing Fu is determined to do whatever it takes to make the life she dreams of, not just for herself but for her entire village. Will the struggles she faces ultimately lead her to the happiness her name seems to have destined her for?
