Set in a small restaurant in the corner of a shopping district. The unusual eatery is only open after midnight, and its standard menu consists of just a single choice. However, the customers still come for the amusing chatter and the proprietor's willingness to cook any dish that they request. This drama depicts the lives of the restaurant's patrons, including a yakuza, an unsuccessful actor, a group of office ladies, a newspaper delivery boy, and a stripper.

Tung Ming Ming has a crush on Ding Yat San, while Ding Yat San admires Shek Yau, but Shek Yau likes Koi Siu Tin, causing Ding Yat San to decide to break with Koi Siu Tinand work on his own. But things turn out differently from what he planned. Ding Yat San is framed by Shek Yau and loses his golden tongue abilities. Later, he is revealed to be the descendant of a formerly famous chef. Ding Yat San vows to clear his father's name, even if he has to pay the price of being deserted by everyone.

Each has their own issues and it makes for the start of a tumultuous home life. Tsuyoshi Domoto stars as the passionate yet sentimental lead, Shogo. Diametrically opposed in character and thinking is Tomohiko (Yusuke Santamaria). The story centres on these two as the butt heads at every turn, and the eight grow closer together as a family. This is a human drama full of heart and mixed with laughs and tears depicting a group of deeply wounded people beginning to believe in tomorrow and live life more positively.
