Detective Mok (Dayo Wong) is a very smart detective with a high IQ, but he has asthma and sometimes appears slow and weak. When solving one of his cases, Mok meets insurance agent Wai (Ada Choi). She mistakes him for a pervert who has been photographing women in public toilets, leading to some hilarious misunderstandings. Soon after that case is solved, Wai is accused of shoplifting and then becomes the prime suspect in the murder of her boss. Mok proves her innocence in both cases, but at first she still can't stand him. Later they become friends, but there is still conflict between them because Mok is always broke, so when they go out Wai has to pay. Wai's job is not easy and Romeo (Marco Ngai), the leader of a rival insurance team, makes it a lot harder. Romeo leads the men's team and Wai leads the women's team, and the competition between the men and women never ends. There is constant gossip in the office, which is often overheard by the person being gossiped about. Wai and Mok meet Jim (Michael Tong), a fitness trainer, who is involved in several cases. Jim falls in love with Wai, but Wai likes Mok instead. There are a lot of funny scenes and the cases are always different.

The story's main character Mariko is a woman studying child welfare in Hokkaido. She grew up always doubtful about the love from her mother, who looked nothing like her and who passed away 9 nine years ago. One day, she finds some of her mother's belongings at a relative's house, and she heads to Tokyo to seek out the truth behind her birth. Meanwhile, Futaba is a college student living in Tokyo who is focused on her band. She gets an opportunity to appear on television, though her mother is strongly opposed to it. Later, Ms. Hua's son finds about everything and doesn't want his mom to sacrifice her happiness for him. So Hua and Liu get a divorce. On the day Mr. Liu gets the repayment from his business and gives it to Ms. Hua, they decide to restart a life together with no contract.

Go Bok Su has had a difficult childhood and served time in prison for stealing. After Guy learns that Piang has such a talent, he then asks her to help him make the show and sell it to a TV channel. Guy is confused but eager to figure out the truth, he then asks Piang to help him investigate until both discover Belle is no longer living, so her spirit is haunting them. The only way to calm her spirit is to find her murderer, a secret even to Belle herself.
