Hong Yun has been friends with Ye Chan since elementary school, they are 18 years old and they both dream of love. Kabir Anand is a former Indian Intelligence Wing (IIW) agent who has fallen out after an operation that resulted in his partner's death. He is now a literature teacher who looks after his deceased friend's wife and son. When four Indian intelligence officers are captured by Taliban in Quetta, the secret service director Sadiq Sheikh summons a reluctant Kabir to rescue them. He refuses at first, but when he finally decides to undertake the mission, he arrives at Sadiq's house to find the latter dead. He is suspected of the murder and is interrogated by the intelligence head Arun Joshi, who later allows him to walk free. Upon noticing a man clicking pictures during the cremation of Sadiq, Kabir chases him and instead ends up meeting with analyst Isha Khanna. Decoding a message left by Sadiq before his death, Kabir comes to the conclusion that this mission in Balochistan would be unsanctioned, and would involve him, Isha and another agent named Veere Singh who has been working undercover for a long time and wants to go home. Teaming up to complete the mission once they meet, Kabir and team face a lot of challenges on their way to Quetta while Arun learns of the unsanctioned mission and starts tracking them.

Yoshizawa Miku leads a busy life as part of the variety show team at the local TV station "P-Tele". One day, her drama proposal is accepted and she's able to transfer to the drama department. Her joy was short-lived, as the department head then asked "Can we make the protagonist of this proposal a person with disabilities?"

As part of the "Diversity Month" campaign launched by the network, it is said that dramas featuring characters with diverse backgrounds are needed. Despite Miku's concerns, she continues to press on with the interviews, determined to make the plan work somehow.

Eventually, she meets Miyajima Haru, a wheelchair- bound high school student who aspires to be an actress. They fall in love with each other and encourage each other to achieve their dreams.

Ye Fan, the chief of the three Departments responsible for trials and He Lan, a laid-off coroner, reunite and fall in love with each other as they work together to clear up a case. He Lan catches a break in the case through her superb autopsy skills, helping Ye Fan find the truth and and bring the real culprit to justice ultimately.
