Emperor Li Shi Min of the Tang dynasty has frequently been plagued by the same nightmare, in which he sees himself being hunted in a forest and helplessly trapped by enemies. Each time however, he is saved by a strong, highly skilled, and patriotic warrior. He believes it is an omen and is determined to find this mysterious hero. That hero turns out to be Xue Ren Gui, a good and honest man who would rise from tragedy and poverty and overcome all sorts of other adversities to become a famous military commander in Li Shi Min's army.

In the sinful city of Heyang, Pan Yue, who was throwing lots of fruit and carts, married Yang Cai Wei, whom everyone despises. On the day of the wedding, Yang Cai Wei was killed, and the suspect was Pan Yue. Yang Cai Wei, who "resurrected from the dead", returned "fiercely" under the guise of "evil girl" Shangguan Zhi and was about to expose Pan Yue's true face.

Jenkhwan, an architecture freshman who loves competition, loses a bet with his good friend Pod. Consequently, Jenkhwan has to dress as a woman for high school graduation. By chance, Jenkhwan comes to save comm arts freshy Pin from a drunk. Jenkhwan likes her immediately but the two part before they can get to know one another. Fate, however, brings them together again under confusing circumstances: Jenkhwan's name ends up on the girls' dorm list and his roommate is none other than Pin.

At first, Jenkhwan intends to clear things up and have his name moved to the men's dorm list. Then Pod proposes a new wager; he thinks Jenkhwan has no chance of successfully hitting on Pin. Clients come in and tell their stories about their romantic lives, focusing on points where they think they might have had sex, but ended up not doing it. The committee then delivers their judgment on whether or not they think the client might have actually ended up having sex at that point if something had been different.

A story about Chong'er's unwavering determintion for the sake of his country and the emotional sometimes heart-wrenching relationships formed with Qi Jiang, Li Ji, Ying Yue and Ji Wei. . Chong'er loves his country and has thought of many ways to help the people. However, he becomes the victim of a conspiracy cooked up by corrupt officials.
