Setsuko Koda (Saki Aibu) is married to Kiichiro who runs a hotel. There is a large age difference between them. Her hobby is to write poems. She published her own poem collection "Garasu no Ashi" upon her husband's suggestion. One afternoon, Setsuko Koda is lying in bed with Masahiro Sawaki. They are having an affair. The police then contacts her and informs her that her husband was in a car accident. Setsuko Koda goes to the hospital. The doctor there informs Setsuko Koda that Kiichiro has severe brain damage and he won't live much longer. At this time, Setsuko Koda’s mother, Ritsuko Fujishima, arrives at the hospital. In the past, her mother was involved in a romantic relationship with Kiichiro. Her mother was also abusive to Setsuko Koda when she was a child. Due to this, Setsuko Koda hates her mother. When she sees her mother at the hospital, Setsuko Koda curses at her.

The story follows 21st-century man Lin Wan Rong who is touring around Mount Tai when he accidentally falls into a dark space, transferring him to a parallel world, existing at the same time as the Song dynasty. The serial follows the life of an independent and confident girl, Samia (Ramsha Khan) who works as a waitress in a restaurant. She got married again after her first divorce as her first husband, Rizwan (Wahaj Ali) was not loyal to her. Her second husband, Khalil (Shahood Alvi) murdered by his first wife at their marriage's first night. After the death of Khalil, Samiya marries Basharat (Ali Abbas), a young guy who works with Samia and lives with her widow sister-in-law, Amtul (Javeria Abbasi). After the death of Amtul's son, Salman (Zuhab Khan), Basharat feels bad for her sister-in-law, Amtul and decides to marry her. This time, again it becomes difficult for Samia to pursue her marital life due to Amtul's interference and she decides to leave Basharat, disappointing her mother. She also loses her job because the restaurant shuts down and searches for a new job. It is very difficult for her to bear with any job because she is harassed wherever she goes, so she decides to open her own restaurant and succeeds in it. A new guy named Uzair (Danial Afzal) comes into her life and asks her to marry him but she rejects as she sees his flirting nature with another women. In the end, Samia decides to live her life as an independent girl. She doesn't want to marry anyone anymore and wants to reach the sky independently. The serial ends by showing her taking each step towards her success in life.

Shinigami Kun (Satoshi Ono) is an Angel of Death and he is sometimes called Angel of Death Number 413. He informs people of their impending death and then takes them to the spirit world upon their death. He wears a black suite and a bow tie and appears about 30 years in age. He has a helper (Mirei Kiritani) who appears as a crow in the human world. Mami Kobayashi (Riho Takada) is a pretty high school student. Her face was recently burned in a fire, which leads to Mami attempting to jump off the rooftop of the hospital. At that time, Shinigami Kun appears and tells her that she can't die yet. Mami has one friend Fukuko Oonish (Sakurako Ohara) who cares about her. Prior to the accident, Mami was popular with the boys because of her beautiful appearance. Fukuko Oonish was the one who made Mami Kobayashi look even better because of Fukuko Oonish’s ordinary appearance.  Meanwhile, Fukuko Oonish tries to comfort Mami Kobayashi. Then, Shinigami Kun appears in front of Fukuko Oonish and tells her “You have three days to live. Hopefully you can live the 3 days without regret."
