A manga-based drama about the young and talented Shota (Kashiwabara) who set a goal of becoming the no. 1 sushi chef in Japan to save his father's sushi shop. To learn the art of making sushi, he became an apprentice at the famous Otori Sushi. Each episode sees him picking up a new skill, and going a step towards his goal. However, many obstacles stood in his way, including a harsh and cold senior who was jealous of his talent.

Akiho Takeda (Eikura Nana) is assigned to #3 investigation team for The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. On her first day at work, a burglary takes place at a jewelry store in Shibuya. The case though is taken by the #1 investigation team which Akiho hoped to join. Nevertheless, Akiho goes secretly to the jewelry store where the theft took place. There she sees a man with piercing eyes among the onlookers. That man is veteran detective Shuichi Hagio (Takahashi Katsumi), who also works for the #3 investigation team. They become partners and work together. Later, a safe at a jewelry store in Roppongi is broken into. The safe breaking case is assigned to the #3 investigation team. Shuichi and Akiho go to the jewelry store in Roppongi. They learn that the safe was protected by a secret code and a high tech fingerprint authentication system. Stolen from the safe is the diamond called "Besu". The "Besu" is one of three diamonds that makes up the "Kuraida Family's Three Sisters". The other two diamonds are "Ani" and "Kyasari". The diamond "Ani" was stolen from the jewelry store in Shibuya, that occurred a few days earlier. Several people believe the two diamond thefts were done by the same person(s), but Akiho mentions the techniques used by thieves are different. Asahiyama Zoo in Hokkaido is the northernmost zoo in Japan. It was once in danger of being shut down but overcame this crisis. The leader of the zookeepers, Sakauchi Zen (Yamaguchi Tomomitsu), has become the zoo’s director. He works hard towards the construction of a new giraffe enclosure. On the other hand, the zookeepers Izumi Sawako (Toda Erika) and Nakagawa Shinichi (Koide Keisuke) privately have worries while being swamped with their job of raising animals. Sawako, who is in charge of the popular red pandas, sees signs of a pregnancy, but cannot feel genuinely happy. Having been present at the deaths of animals countless times in the past, she has developed a fear of witnessing the life and death of animals. Nakagawa, who has been appointed the leader of the breeding staff, even has strong ideas about the current state of the zoo. A part of him cannot agree with Sakauchi on the construction of the giraffe enclosure too. Veteran zookeeper, Makihara Yuichiro (Ito Shiro), who has known the zoo since the time it opened, cannot make up his mind about his own retirement. To compound matters, a flamingo escapes from the zoo. Sakauchi sets a trap which makes use of the flamingo’s behaviour, but the flamingo is killed by a wild fox. Nakagawa opposes Sakauchi’s decision which sacrificed an animal. Confidence in the zoo also plummets. Meanwhile, Okamura Tetsu (Joshima Shigeru), who has been an elementary school janitor for many years, comes as a zookeeper in a personnel reshuffle. Poor with both people and animals, Okamura is given the task to rear the zoo’s oldest animal, the hippopotamus, by Sakauchi. Okamura is uncomfortable with a job which does not have a manual. However, he takes Makihara’s advice and gradually becomes concerned about the hippopotamus more than anyone else. The new enclosure is completed. A young hippopotamus also arrives. These appear to be positive signs for the zoo. Then one day, a terrible sight unfolds before Okamura

Diyar-e-Dil depicted the story of Bakhtiyar Khan / Agha Jan (Abid Ali)'s family, It is the story of two brothers (Agha Jan's sons) and their emotional bond, the story depicts their journey of how they separate from each other and suffer without each other's presence. Agha Jan's family which apart long ago due to the rebelliousness of his son Behroze Bakhtiyar Khan (Mekal Zulfiqar) when he refused to marry his father's choice (and his paternal cousin) Arjumand Bedar Khan (Hareem Farooq) to marry Ruhina Arsalan (Sanam Saeed) instead. After getting disowned by his father, Behroze left his house to marry Ruhina, without the consent of Agha Jaan, while Arjumand was forced to marry Behroze's younger brother, Suhaib Bakhtiyar Khan (Ali Rehman Khan). Behroze and Ruhi were insulted by Agha Jan when Behroze came back for apology, Agha Jan chose Suhaib and Arjumand over them, the two were banished forever, they left and decided to start a new life in Lahore whereas Arjumand and Suhaib decided not to grow more close. Both the couples faced different situations, with one in love and the other in depression. After twenty-years, Behroze became a successful business man, both the couples were settled and satisfied. It was also shown how Suhaib never stopped looking after his older brother, in hope to get him back home until his death after which Behroze reunited with his family. Their children were married, fulfilling Suhaib last wish to reunite the family. However, Ruhina opposed this decision and left Behroze in anger due to her brother's manipulation As a result, Behroze died of her umbrage. With the grief of her father's death, and the constant persuasion of her maternal uncle and cousin, Faraah demanded for a divorce from Wali along with her inheritance, which further increased tension in the family and became the cause of Agha Jaan's developing illness. Faarah told her mother she did not want her inheritance, and that it was added to her divorce agreements without her choice, due to which Ruhi left the house in anger and her daughter alone. After Agha Jaan's second heart attack, Wali kidnapped Faarah from her house and drove her to his summer resort, locking her in a room so she would not be able to escape. Once Faarah calmed down, Wali made an agreement with her; that if she agreed to live with Agha Jaan for three months, he would give her a divorce so she could marry her cousin Moeez (Ahmad Zeb) whom which he thought she loved. Following the agreement Faarah developed affection towards Agha Jaan when she realizes the mistakes and lies told by her uncle Tajamul Arsalan (Behroze Sabzwari) and mother, and eventually develops a soft corner for Wali. Tajamul and Moeez's truth was revealed to Ruhi after which she regretted her doings and was locked up by Moeez. He kidnapped Faarah to retain her inheritance to invest in his business, where Wali saved Faarah and gets wounded of gun shot. Moeez ended up in jail, while Ruhi breaks all ties from her brother and reunites with Agha Jaan and her in-laws apologizing for her doings. Faarah admits her love for Wali the day her contract was due, and the two reconciled removing all the misconceptions they had in their hearts and complete the valley of heart (Diyar-e-Dil).

Kumagai is an art teacher at a private female high school. Sakai, the school's chairman of the board, runs the school like the school is his own property and pays Kumagi a low salary. Then, Music Teacher Naoko and P.E. Teacher Oyamada asks Kumagi to join them in a scheme to blackmail Sakai.

Unexpectedly, Sakai and his girlfriend Akemi go missing. The duo are assumed to be kidnapped by Minowa and Nakao who are education consultants. Meanwhile, Kumagai and Naoko unwittingly become involved in a scheme to steal large amount of gold bars that were hidden by Sakai.
