Can a heterosexual man be a woman’s BFF without any strings attached? Fang Jun is a marriage consultant who takes his job very seriously. Among his clients are Liu Hui Yun, a divorcee whose husband cheated on her after he became successful; Ye Shan, a professional woman who neglected her personal life in pursuit of her career; and Yi Yi, a fashionable young woman who was too quick to marry and equally quick to divorce. As Jun cozies up to these women, catering to their every need and even going over to their homes to cook up the most amazing meals, does he really just want to be their BFF or is he really good at creating new clients for his business?

Nagasaki in the 1950s: The wealthy Sano family falls on hard times and has to move from their mansion to a tenement house. Oldest son Masahi (a fifth year student) is worried he has to give up playing violin, but the adults reassure him.

Jing Hua has unrequited love for the company president's son, Ye Guang Yi (Chi Shuai). However, he is in love with a mysterious woman named Xue Li, who seems to be connected to Zhou Xuan. Mei Li gets trapped within the battles going on between her work life and her social life. Despite all the trouble brewing up, Mei Li maintains an optimistic view, holds onto her dreams, and extends this warmth to the people around her, like a diamond shining in the dark.

Wu Yi is a little boy who has lost his parents but lives a warm and happy life with his aunt Wu Jiao Jiao who runs a martial arts hall. His uncle, domineering president Qi Mo, wants his father to meet his only grandson and so he begins a custody battle with Wu Jiao Jiao, who is a passionate young woman that will not give up easily.

Kaibutsu-kun and his companions, Dracula, Wolfman, and Franken, travel from Monster Land to the Human Realm, where they encounter and battle several monsters, mainly assassins from the demon group Demonish.

Yano Katsuhiko, a weather forecaster who is divorced and is introduced by his friend, Taguchi to popular radio DJ Yukawa Sachi aka "Love Specialist". Yano recalled seeing pictures of her before but the person he actually saw is Sachi's friend, Yujin.
