In the summer of 2021, Otsu Akari returns home to Hirose Yana, surrounded by lush mountains and pure flowing water. The reason she returned home was to report an exciting job offer she had received. However, while reporting it, she is informed that the job offer has been cancelled due to the company going bankrupt. Akari is even more shocked when she discovers that her beloved grandmother Saeko is suffering from dementia. After a long absence, Akari's life at home with her family starts again...

Kiichi is a former policer officer and his younger sister Yuki is a genius white hat hacker. Five years ago, their father Takashi, who worked as a police officer, was murdered by an unknown person in front of them. They had already lost their mother at an early age and their father Takashi raised them by himself. He was the most precious person in their lives. After their father’s death, Kiichi quit his job as a police officer and chased after his father's killer with his younger sister. But, they did not have any clues on the identity of their father's killer except that he had a phoenix tattoo on the back of his hand. Now, Kiichi and Yuki finally get into a criminal organization, which is the largest fraud group in Japan. At the top of the criminal organization is someone named Phoenix. They try to get close to this mysterious person.

Kim Min Kyu is the largest shareholder of a financial company. He suffers from a "human allergy", preventing him from normal interactions with other people. He becomes interested in a robotic project named Aji-3 created by the Santa Maria robotic team. The team is headed by Hong Baek Gyun, inventor of Aji-3 and world-renowned robotics professor. He modeled Aji-3 after his ex-girlfriend, Jo Ji Ah, a struggling inventor that also works as a personal shopper to make ends meet. Just when Kim Min Kyu wants to test the robot, an accident causes the malfunction of the robot's battery. Hong Baek Gyun begs Jo Ji Ah to take the place of Aji-3 and pretend to be the robot so they can get funding from Kim Min Kyu. But, Aji-3 becomes the closest thing that the lonely Min Kyu has to real contact with another person.

A 'leftover lady' (refers to unmarried women over the age of 30) nicknamed White-Boned Demon Su Man, meets Song Yi, a talented man for whom she has had a crush on for years.
