But, swept up by the go-getting, overbearing chick Shakipiyo, it leaves the refrigerator and heads out into the world. Together, these polar opposites go on an adventure to find their mother!

The story of three generations of daughters-in-law who have lived in a 300-year-old traditional house. Choi Mak Nyeo is the daughter-in-law of the 11th generation. She may be small of stature, stubborn and recalcitrant, but she has lead the large household with dignity and her powerful charisma ever since her husband died. Cha Hye Ja is the daughter-in-law of the 12th generation. She lost her husband in an accident when she was young, and since then she has been dedicated to her role as a daughter-in-law of the family, taking care of the family with warmth. One day, however, her lover from the past suddenly shows up, and Hye Ja is thrown into a quandary. Oh Young Shim is the 13th generation daughter-in-law, adored by everyone for her bright personality and optimism. Unfortunately, her lack of children even after 10 years of marriage makes her increasingly guilty. The situation worsens when her husband has an affair and demands a divorce, but is killed in a sudden traffic accident.

Set in Nagano prefecture, the drama covers the life of Yoko Sudo through World War II. Yoko Sudo with her smile is able to bring brightness to those other around her & she follows her mother's motif to laugh through hard times. During the onset of WW II, Yoko Sudo is a high school student and "Ohisama" follows her as she eventually becomes a teacher and then gets married and has a child. When World War II breaks out, Yoko's husband and brothers are drafted into the military. Yoko Sudo then opens a soba restaurant with her student.

Yoo Eun Ho (Son Yeh Jin), an instructor at a fitness club divorced her husband Lee Dong Gin (Kam Woo Sung) after the death of their new born baby as she blamed him for not being there for her when she needed him most. They remained friends after the divorce and met regularly. Even though both started seeing other people, they still had great feelings towards each other. With the help of YEH's sister Yoo Ji Ho (Lee Ha Na) and LDG's friend, Dr. Gong Jeon pyo (Gong Hyeong Gin), they finally realized that they should get back together

Lin Zi Tong is the rich young heiress of the Li group: she is beautiful, cheerful, smart and straightforward. She has everything for her, including a devoted boyfriend, Chi Shan.
