Kasumi is a self confident girl who sings lead soprano for her high school's choral department. One day the class chairman asks to photograph her during a performance, but the moment he snaps the photo she's making a face that resembles a spawning salmon. Tired of the constant malicious bullying by Gi-woong’s gang, Gi-taek betrays them by disclosing that Yong-ju has loved Gi-woong for years. Surrounded by an insecure boundary of the school and wounded by betrayals, the boys are driven into catastrophe.

They are in the same class but have long since gone their separate ways. Having become embroiled in a fight, Gi-woong snatches Yong-ju’s bicycle in order to escape and doesn’t give it back. Yong-ju threatens him, but Gi-woong is impervious to his warnings – his gang is notorious for their cruel bullying of an eccentric classmate named Gi-taek. His attempts to regain their old friendship mean Yong-ju also runs the risk of becoming a target of this terrorising clan, but he refuses to give in. Instead, Yong-ju cleverly draws Gi-woong into a power game of mutual humiliation and burgeoning memories which triggers a dangerous emotional duel. The director of last year’s Panorama film White Night has chosen anonymous and abandoned urban spaces in which to depict the emotional turmoil gripping the two schoolboys. His film is a portrait of a society being eroded by the compulsion to achieve, a society in which there is no place for minorities, friendship or passion.

4 years ago, Kyoko started to live alone in Thailand, leaving her mother and her daughter, Sayo, in Japan. Just before the graduation of University, Sayo sets foot on Thailand to visit her mother. However, contrary to her expectation, it was not her mother who came to pick up Sayo, but Ichio who works for Kyoko. After 4 years, Sayo finds her mother not changed at all. Kyoko always lives her own way no matter where she lives or whom she lives with, and it perplexes Sayo though she knew it.

At a guest house Kyoko runs, there also were a Thai kid called Bee and a Japanese woman called Kikuko who has mysterious atmosphere, and Sayo can hardly accept her mother living happily with those unknown people.

At a place with beautiful greenery, there is a small pool where you can feel wonderful ozone. During 6 days at Chiang Mai in Thailand with beautiful scenery, with a close relationship among the people, there is something developing in Sayo’s mind who is going back home…
