The film centres around three contemporary urban couples who are involved in what has been described as a romantic Infernal Affairs-Esquire chess game. A pair of brother and sister - Li Zheng & Li Ying one happened to be a love detective and the other a love expert, when affluent businessman Xiao Feng turns up, requesting the agency test the waters with his bride-to-be, pretty psychiatrist Fei. Li Ying is immediately overwhelmed, seeing Xiao Feng as a potential catch rather than a customer.

It follows the Qin State during the late stages of the Warring States era. Ying Zheng, Lu Bu Wei, Li Si, Wang Jian, and many formidable politicians work together to unite the six states under one rule. The Qin Empire becomes the first dynasty of Imperial China.

The Qin State has achieved strategic dominance among the six states due to aggressive measures put forth by King Zhao Xiang. After the consecutive deaths of King Zhao Xiang and his successor King Xiao Wen, the royal court was thrown into disputes over legitimacy. Lu Bu Wei, a powerful and influential merchant attempts to seize power by helping Ying Yi Ren, a prince in exile, to the throne. The eldest prince leaves the capital bringing the political unrest to a close.

Qin strikes down the other states with the ambition to rule all the lands. However, the battle between Qin and Zhao proves to be difficult and deadly. After Ying Zheng, a prince of Qin, and his mother Zhao Ji make their way home, Ying Zheng begins to exhibit the qualities of a ruler under the guidance of Lu Bu Wei. In order to seat her son on the throne, Zhao Ji and Lu Bu Wei join hands against Huayang Furen. Ying Zheng starts on a bloody path to becoming an emperor as he uses the people around him to secure power.

This drama is a love story between an 19-year-old man and 31-year-old woman, born in the same year and were childhood friends.

Although born in the same year, two childhood friends end up being 12 years apart because they have aged at different places (worlds) for some strange reason. Now Jung Jung Won (Lee Yun Hee) is a 31-year-old woman but Sung Hae Sung (Yeo Jin Goo) is still a 19-year-old boy. Meanwhile, Cha Min Joon (Ahn Jae Hyun) is a chef also interested in Jung Jung Won.

Oh Ye Ji is a ceramic artist. She has a pure heart and relentless optimism and refuses to give up no matter the situation. She dreams of finding ordinary happiness but in a cruel twist of fate gets caught in a love triangle with two brothers, Seo Hwan and Seo Jin.

Seo Hwan, an architectural designer, is an innocent young man who falls in love with Oh Ye Ji at first sight. His feelings put him at odds with his older brother Seo Jin, but he can’t let go of his fateful first love.

Seo Jin is a race car driver and the leader of his rally team. He is cool and reserved on the outside but is ruthless in the pursuit of what he desires. When he meets Oh Ye Ji for the first time at his father’s workshop, he instinctually feels attracted to her.

Carrie Jung, described as a femme fatale, is Seo Jin’s ex-girlfriend and marketing partner. She is charismatic, but she is also intensely jealous over her ex-lover and has a selfish and egoistic streak. She feels passionate love for Seo Jin, whose rally team she used to sponsor, and is unable to let go of him even after they break up.

The story revolves around a cost engineer in an architecture firm and her growth journey in a male dominated Architecture industry in China. At the peak of her career Su Xiao found love with Xian Ming but an incident occured causing her to be supressed and demoted. With the encouragement of her father, she regains confidence, withstand enormous pressure and fight for her career.

On October 14, the UN forces launched a fierce attack on Shangganling. The PVA soldiers bravely resisted the assault, engaging in repeated struggles to hold the position. After transitioning to tunnel warfare, they continued fighting in extremely harsh conditions.

In the decisive phase, the PVA launched a resolute counterattack and gradually strengthened their positions. After 43 days of intense battle, the PVA soldiers achieved victory. This campaign showcased China's national and military strength, deterring any Western countries from provoking China in the following decades.
