Haruya (Yuta Tamamori) is a university student. He is smart, brave and curious. Haruya then becomes involved in a case and investigates like a private detective. Since then, Haruya works like a private detective to solve cases.

Twenty-five-year-old Kakushidate Yakusuke suffers from the fate of constantly stumbling into various crime scenes and ending up being the main suspect. His last resort: Okitegami Kyouko the "Quickest Detective." However, Kyouko suffers from a strange case of amnesia; whenever she falls asleep, she forgets everything that happened the previous day, making her solve the mysteries within one day.

It has been one and a half years since Aizawa Kosaku, Shiraishi Megumi, Hiyama Mihoko and Fujikawa Kazuo were assigned to Shoyo University's North Hospital. They have only three months left of their fellowship programme (specialised training programme) to be flight doctors and each of them have come to the crossroads where they have to think of their lives after graduation. Aizawa, who has only one relative – a grandmother currently in a nursing home, starts having doubts about his duties and cannot find a clear direction for his future. Yang-Soon (Choi Yoon-Young) aspired to write a novel, but her father's death led to her giving up her dream and, instead, work as a reporter for a magazine. By chance, she brings home a stray cat. She takes care of the cat even though she has allergies to cats. One day, a man, Chi-Woong (Hyun Woo), appears and insists the cat has an owner who is looking for the cat. Chi-Woong then takes the cat from Yang-Soon. Chi-Woong went to law school mainly to satisfy his father. He realized in law school that he didn't want to become a lawyer and dropped out without telling his family. He now struggles to become a photographer and supports himself by woking for a private detective office. A clients requests that they find his cat. He faces Yang-Soon once he locates the cat. Through their meeting, Yang-Soon and Chi-Woong discover a family's hidden truth.

Ka Badin, which takes place in the era of King Nang Klao, the third reign (after King Rama II). The story sets around the period when England (known as Wilat at the time) enters into a commercial partnership role with Thailand, and this historical fact plays as a backbone to the plot of this drama.

Because Haym is a good looking, well-mannered and bright boy, he is known as “Phor Haym Roop Thong” meaning “Phor Haym the Golden”. He has a knack for English and sneaks around to further his skills with an English teacher, however once his father finds out (he who doesn't trust foreigners) decides to send his son to study at the monastery. He had already met her when they were younger, and this propels them to fall in love. However due to their status differences, as well as interference from another man who wants Lamduan for himself, Haym pursues the military forces so that he can improve his status. With his brilliance and capability, Haym climbs the military rung (so to speak) and also becomes the national pride and bravery of Badin.

Lu Fan Fan is Liu Ruo Chen's personal nutritionist. She fell in love with him after many years of getting along. When Lu Fan Fan confessed her love to him, she was rejected. Three months later, she resigned as Liu Ruo Chen's nutritionist and began to live alone at her new house. One day, Lu Fan Fan accidentally fell asleep in the toilet and she actually traveled back 12 years ago and met Liu Ruo Chen when he was 20 years old.
