A drama based on a popular portrayal of the events during the time of Prince Gwanghae in early 17th Century Joseon. Queen Inmok is depicted as a virtuous lady who fell victim to palace politics and is subsequently banished to the West Palace. Her stepson, Prince Gwanghae, is bewitched by the scheming concubine Kim Gae Shi, and her ambitions and insatiable thirst for power leads him to his downfall.

Set in "Byplaywood" a large film studio surrounded by forest, far from the city. The story depicts 100 days of turmoil caused by the gathering of serial dramas and movies from various TV stations at once in this remote studio. It is a drama full of battles for ratings between studios, clashes between young, mid-career, and big names, and a heartwarming story of friendship and bonding. Also, the self-deprecation and parodies are enhanced by the fact that the actors play a role of themselves.

This is in the hope that Heng-Lit may lead Mongol rebel warriors into a civil war to overthrow the Ming Dynasty, whereby realizing the Mongol dream. However, Heng-Lit has his own dream of an Equal world, whereby Mongol and the Han-Chinese live together in harmony...

Na Young (Kang Sung Yun of New Wise Mother, Good Wife) is a thirty-something-year-old woman who gives in to familial pressure to get married. He, too, submits his name to the matchmaking service and by happenstance, the unlikely couple are paired together and married.

A westernized Irish adoptee, Joong-Ah inevitably flies back to Korea to confront her past and to see the country she is really from, only to fall in love with her brother, Jae-Bok. Their love is painful, as they are never meant to be together as lovers, but merely as brother and sister. The show’s message is that there is no such thing as noble innocent love and that love is adversity itself. Therefore, love mustn’t be impeded by so-called “destiny” or family, no matter how ironic or difficult the case may seem. Although destiny is cruel and arduous, the two young lovers radiate pure happiness. The show describes how love survives the tragic bondage of family, destiny and romance.
