Meng Ke Huai is a popular romance novelist who suffers from writer's block because he no longer believes in love. When a crazy fan trapped him over night with an innocent bystander, he found the inspiration he needed to finish his book. The bystander was Li Xiao Yang, a senior flight attendant who desperately wanted her boyfriend to propose. They became fast friends over the incident. As time pass by, he found himself attracted to this woman who he knows but not that familiar with.

Yan Ning is a girl who is not good at words. She has been in love with Shen Zhi Zhou for many years but can't face the ending of being rejected. She chooses to erase her feelings for Shen Zhi Zhou through psychotherapy; Shen Zhi Zhou is a man who does not believe in love, because he is afraid of losing his best friend. They work together and overcome many difficulties, and finally realize that running away is not the best option, and only facing them can bring happiness to each other.

The web television series, which will be released in three seasons, takes places after the events of the original three films and focuses on an entirely new set of characters. Ito Tomohiro comes to the batting center every night that Natsuha Mai works and watches female customers take batting practice. He tries to solve their worries by using baseball theory.

Dong, an aspiring actor who is finally getting a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fame, wakes up with a dead woman, Meng, beside him. Unable to piece together the night before, Dong is determined not to let it stand in his way. He cleans up the scene and sets it up like a robbery went wrong, but unknowingly leaves traces of himself to be found. While the police search the apartment, it turns out all the residents have something to hide. Unravelling the cause of Meng’s death proves difficult, as everyone seems to have a motive for this murder...
