Club Friday 14: Love & Belief (2022)

The 69th NHK Asadora Drama is Teruteru Kazoku. Locations include Ikeda, Osaka and Sasebo, Nagasaki. The story, based on Rei Nakanishi's novel, is about the Iwata family living in Ikeda, Osaka City between 1950's and 1960's. The story is told through the eyes of the youngest daughter, Fuyuko (16). The family runs a bakery. The mother, Teruko, is a very energetic woman who is determined to make her dreams come true. Responding to Teruko's expectations, the eldest daughter becomes a figure skater and the second daughter becomes a very famous professional singer. In contrast, Fuyuko finds her joy in bread making..

Just when everything seemed to go well for Ji An Lei, series of unfortunate events happened. Her promotion got stolen by an outside hire, her boyfriend dumped her, and she got an unwanted roommate. When she discovers her new roommate had come all the way from New Zealand to win the love of his dream girl, who happens to be her boss' daughter and her ex's new girlfriend, she joins him on an "Operation Fighting for Love."

The plot centers on a group of people who find their ordinary lives thrown into chaos due to a family tragedy. They monitor criminals 24 hours a day and rescue potential victims before the crime is committed. They also embarrass corrupt state prosecutors and make sure that criminals are punished for their crimes. This TV show illustrates the current society where the simple rule of going to jail if you break the law no longer applies to those in power. Illustrating the tragic lives of the Watchmen group who channel their anger and grief into fighting for justice, “The Guardians” will have stylistic action scenes and a thrilling plot.

Jao Sua Leng, the 2nd generation dragon heir to Mongkorn Waree. He arranged for a celebration to introduce his project that cost more than a billion without listening to the objection from his left hand, Lao Ngow, a close friend of his dad who helped build his family's fortune. He bestowed upon his unborn child a red dragon jade, the family treasure and vowed to come back to get them after he deal with the bad guys. But Praosaeng wasn't able to escape the hitmen who came after her. Jao Sua was able to escape death this time because of Duangkae, his mistress. Lao Ngow was served with the allegation of trying to assassinate Jao Sua and was sentenced to life in prison. Daungkae backstabbed Lao Ngow because she wanted Manop, her 5 years old son with him to become the heir Jao Sua's fortune despite the fact that Manop is not Jao Sua's real son. Twenty years later, Yok, a young man with a bright future will soon graduate from the Royal Police Cadet Academy despite being an orphan and living in the slum. He was raised by an ex-boxer who now opened a school that teaches boxing to young kids. He told Yok that he discovered Yok's mother who was injured and decided to help her. He was able to save her until she passed away after giving birth to Yok. She refused to tell him the father of the baby, with only the red dragon jade by her side he named the baby, Yok.
