"The Fragment Man" sets an invasion of Earth by an Alien civilization as the background of the story, describing how interpol special advisor Wesley (Shawn Yue), because of the appearance of the fragment man Deng Shi (Gordon Lam), collaborates with the Bai Su (Hu Ran), daughter of an interpol top executive Bai Laoda (Simon Yam), thus beginning a thrilling adventure in Egypt.

Yuzuhara Miku is a temporary employee who works for a reception desk at a department store. One day, she meets Takakura Eve, a guy with a special love for makeup. When he applied red lipstick to her lips, Miku felt a sense of exhilaration. Song Na Young and her husband, Jung Sung Min, desperately want a child but her husband is unable to get her pregnant. Her husband's friends decide to help them. But Na Young suddenly loses her husband in an accident and she gives birth to her daughter but does not know which of her husband's friends fathered her child. This drama is a pure love story that depicts the miracle of love over 10 years. Kitazawa Nao (Toda Erika), a 34 year old doctor with juvenile alzheimer's, falls in love with Mamiya Shinji (Muro Tsuyoshi), a 41 year old novelist who works part time with a moving company one month before her marriage to Ihara Yuichi (Matsuoka Masahiro). Shinji keeps her bright and healthy, but Kitazawa's illness has her fearing she will one day forget.

Maki Endo (Haruna Kawaguchi) is a student at a part-time high school. Every day, she is exhausted with working multiple jobs to cover her expenses. One day, Tooru and Maki happen to meet each other. Maki wants to graduate high school to get a regular job and asks Tooru to tutor her for her test–retest. After Tooru quit his prep school job, he has lost his pride and passion to teach. Tooru was also diagnosed to have only a year left to live. He decides to teach Maki and get her into the University of Tokyo.
